One of the best parks, offering excellent restrooms, a small beach, and several picnic pavilions in a natural setting.

I spent a few beautiful days this week tent camping here. The Visitor Center / gift shop / office is very nice. They have a lot of interesting historical artifacts on display. The Park Ranger that I spoke to was helpful and friendly. Wish I had caught his name! 😊 My campsite was private, peaceful and serene surrounded by hemlock trees. I especially enjoyed the sound of the Standing Stone Creek down behind the site. The bathroom was clean and had nice warm showers. This campground is exceptionally scenic with lots of trails for hiking. Having firewood and Ice available was a huge plus, and greatly appreciated. Definitely one of my favorite PA State Parks! Please keep up the good work! Can't wait to come back again.

The last time we camped here was 2009 and this place always stuck with me about how much history there is in the park. We finally made it a point to return and camp here for 4 days and it was a perfect outing. The bathroom was clean. Dump station clean. Campsites are shaded with tall trees and decent privacy. Very scenic history in the park and great hiking trails. We were grateful to be back and enjoy a quiet time away. Thank you to all the staff.

Beautiful clean park with numerous hiking trails around. I went on a quiet Tuesday, so I had a great time exploring the place all by myself. It's a very large park with a beautiful history of Pennsylvania. Free parking, lots of picnic benches, fishing on the falls, bike trails. Can easily spend an entire day. Definitely recommend.
