This park is underutilized by the community. I came here to celibrate my fathers family reunion, which they have been doing for years here. I drive all the way from Massachusetts and have not been in a while. I forgot how well kept this park is. On a summer day, if you go here, you will feel tucked away in a peaceful area. Go here to experience it. It is truly a beautiful place and you will feel as if your living in a utopian world for the day.

Greenwood park is a favorite of my family. The lake is large, with lots of swimming and wading room. Even when it's packed, there is plenty of space to not feel crowded. The snack shack has lots of options from drinks to snacks, though slightly higher in price than I'd like to pay. I usually bring my own food and drinks, so I've not utilized this option in a long time. Boating costs are fair, and they give ample time. They provide the life vests, which is a huge perk. No more remembering to bring your own if you decide last minute, or the kids ask, to go on a boat ride. The lifeguards are attentive and kind in their relaying of messages and alerts to the crowd. We will continue to visit this park!

Absolutely love this park, that's the park where my kids basically grew up. Joking 😁. But we visited almost every weekend, weather permitting. We discovered that park shortly after moving to the area in 2006. It's free, it has a nice, cute beach, row boats and pedal boats for rent, it has playground, little snack store, bathrooms, showers. I'm in love with this park. Not to mention trails that you can walk or bike. I should off kept this park a secret. I prefer it all to myself. 😂
