Not exactly dry camping as they provide a 30A electrical hookup. There is a dump station with a potable (drinking) water connection. We enjoyed the eclipse on April 8, 2024. The park was packed and there were even campers in overflow areas. On the 9th we were almost alone as only 2 other sites were occupied. Clear skies provide great stargazing opportunities. There is a bit of traffic to the boat ramp, but otherwise peace and quiet are the order of the day.

We love this place! He's been coming to this campground since he was young...50 years of memories packed into this place. I've had the pleasure of visiting for the past 3 years & love it. The views are breathtaking. The water is refreshing. They keep it clean, neat & tidy. We'll continue visiting for the duration of our lives. Even looking at properties in the area.

Nice recreation area, clean bathrooms. Part of the ramp was underwater. I'll definitely go back to double check it.

Not very many people in September, which is a plus. Water was still plenty warm. It was way out, there's not much there. But you can swim, launch a boat, or grill out.

Currently in GREAT need of maintenance. As the water level had been high, and Department of Engineers has not been able to meet such demand. Boat ramp, campground accessible to the public. Monitored by Park rangers, & Game wardens.
