Location & Surroundings
Situated on the north shore of the massive Grenada Lake reservoir, the park is nestled within a lush forest of pines and hardwoods. The surrounding area is characterized by gently rolling hills and expansive water views that define the edge of the Mississippi Delta. While the park feels secluded, it is only a short drive from the city of Grenada, allowing for easy access to supplies while maintaining a sense of remote tranquility. The proximity to the water makes it a prime spot for catching sunrises over the 35,000-acre lake.
Amenities & Park Features
The campground provides well-spaced sites equipped with water and electric hookups, accommodating various rig sizes including larger fifth wheels and motorhomes. Visitors have access to clean bathhouses with hot showers and laundry facilities, which are essential for longer stays in the woods. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the accessible boat ramp located within the park, making it easy to launch for a day of fishing or recreation. Each site includes a picnic table and a fire ring, perfect for evening gatherings under the stars, while a playground is available for families.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Fishing is the primary draw here, as Grenada Lake is a legendary spot for trophy-sized crappie and hosts numerous national tournaments. Beyond the water, the nearby Hugh White State Park offers additional recreational opportunities, including the Dogwoods Golf Course. History buffs can visit the Grenada Historical Museum or explore local Civil War sites in the surrounding county. For those who enjoy hiking, several nature trails wind through the surrounding forests, offering excellent opportunities for birdwatching and spotting local wildlife like white-tailed deer and wild turkey.

This is a great park, very clean and quiet. The rv spaces are nice and big. I was in 49 and it was a pill through, level pad. If you have a longer trailer you might want to call ahead. Mine is 41’ and I wasn’t able to back in to my original spot (45).

Nice park. Very clean and well maintained. It was very quiet, not many visitors. Most sites appear to be level. We were at site #45 and it was perfect! Upon arrival you will find that there is no office to check in at. You just go to your site. I called the office and chatted with Amber to confirm this. She was very nice and helpful.
