Gros Morne / Norris Point KOA Holiday
Endless trails-some easy, some demanding-explore the contours and vistas of this stunning land.
Join in a campfire sing-along as dusk falls and lake mists rise at Newfoundland's first and only KOA. This secluded campground sits in a wooded valley at the center of Gros Morne National Park, an area so spectacular it has been designated a World Heritage Site. Campsites overlook a majestic mountain lake, perfect for swimming and boating (pedal boat and canoe rentals available). Walk the "Moose Path" along its shore. Endless trails - some easy, some demanding - explore the contours and vistas of this stunning land. Join interpretive kayak tours to glide among glacier-carved fjords. Kids get their own interpretive hikes and crafts. You'll all want to become honorary Newfoundlanders with the KOA's initiation "screech-in." Max pull thru: 80 feet. Your hosts: the Shears family.

Love this KOA! It’s the perfect base for exploring Gros Morne. The sites by the pond are beautiful, and the campground is definitely family-oriented. Some sites near the playground can get a bit noisy at times, but overall it’s a great spot. Facilities are clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciate!

Perfect location for exploring Gros Morne & surrounding areas. Nice little gift shop, clean laundry room & showers. Nice trail, playground & beach. Open & wooded sites. Staff was friendly & could answer any questions we had. A bonus is 2 pickleball courts for those that play.

Beautiful location. Super clean showers and bathrooms. Brand new washers and dryers only 2 $ per load. Great kids activities. Near many Gros Morne hiking and viewing areas. Restaurants nearby. Hospital and pharmacy also close. Very quiet. It is an RV park not a hotel.

This is a great campground. There are really no rooms. There's cabins you can rent, but most people have camper trailers. We had a truck camper. They have all kinds of amenities!!! Especially for kids. It's clean and well marked. We stayed 6 nights, but explored all around Gros Morne Park during the day. If you go with kids, it's perfect. Remember, it's a camp ground, car alarms, dogs barking, kids playing etc... All and all, we would do it again.

Our stay with KOA was wonderful. Comfort stations were exceptional with lots of hot water. The laundry facilities were clean with easy access. What we loved the most was the DOG PARK. What a wonderful idea, it was nice for our big boy to stretch his legs and run. Our site was very private and clean. We will definitely be staying again with KOA
