Don't let the front Storage fool you. This is a hidden Oasis by the river, not too busy and very fair pricing. We hope it stays that way also!! 🐶🤠

The place is very nice and pleasant. I personally like campsite 13 because I think it is the most beautiful one. Had many good times at this place. Bathrooms are nice and well-kept and there is an office at the front that sells propane, ice, snacks, firewood, charcoal, fishing equipment, etc. The river is the main attraction however, absolutely stunning with some massive tree's growing from it. They have a rope swing towards tent site 15 or 17 that's always fun. Place is about 15min away from a Walmart in case you forgot anything and is an all-around great and peaceful location. Highly recommended.

Park was average. After reading reviews beforehand it was about what I expected. Access to water is nice. You do have to go down a hill to get to it but it’s not as bad as some say. I do agree there are a lot of long term people staying and a lot of the rvs are worse for wear. I did get the junkyard feel. Might help clearing some of those out and changing to short term only with a few long term. All hookups worked great no issues there. And lot sizes were good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I love the location on the Guadalupe River and the staff are super friendly and helpful. One set of bathrooms could use a tune up though there is another set for RVers only that is really nice. The laundry is nice too. There is plenty of riverfront property to walk on and fish from. There are cows to watch in the pasture, and donkeys too. The little store has just about everything we would need including ice and wood. They can do onsite repairs and even have some nice affordable storage.

I checked into this RV park. At first when driving up, I thought it could not be an RV park as it appeared to be a junk yard! As I approached, there was trash, and junk scattered about and the grass wasn't being mowed regularly. But, to my dismay, there was a sign saying Guadalupe River RV Park by the washed out gravel driveway. There was no one in the office. After difficulty trying to find a hook up that was hidden by rocks, I went into the trailer for an hour or two. When I tried to take my two very small chihuahua puppies outside (one weighs 1 pound and the other one weighs 5 lbs) I was unable to exit the RV as numerous dogs were running through the camp site. When my wife tried to exit the RV about and hour later she was unable to do so as there was a loose dog directly under the RV's steps! The rules sent to me by email say " Each dog must be on tethered or electronic lease at all times and always under immediate control and must never be left unattended." This RV park was not enforcing their own rule and therefor causing an unsafe environment for people staying in their facilities. I went to the office in the morning and explained due to unsafe conditions we would not be able to stay at the park. I asked the receptionist for a refund of the other 6 unused nights I had already paid for. She said she wasn't sure how to process the refund and would get it done when her supervisor came to the office. I left the RV park that morning. Two weeks after that, there was still no credit on the credit card. When I called there was never anyone in to talk to about the credit. After about 7 more days of trying to contact someone I was told they were not going to process a credit. I would tell you to avoid this RV Park! Many years have passed sense the management has upkept the facilities. The restrooms were just filthy and unclean and toilets did not flush. I would give them a zero rating if I could. Do not book a reservation at this facility! As there are much cleaner and safer RV parks in the area. This facility is unsafe! As a finial note the RV site was not as described. It was supposed to be 90 feet long, I measured it to be 55. The site was not as described! This RV park is dangerous and unsafe it needs to be out of business! Unprofessionally run, falsely misleading and dangerous facility!

We stopped in while exploring areas to spend some time riverside. We did not stay for long. The front office is located just as you pull in. Then there is a large area to the left full of RV's. There was little vacancy and it seemed that most spots were taken by long term campers. The road to the camp sites was long and bumpy/hole-y. It hugged the edge of the river and was scarily close to the cliff at some parts. The camp sites are open areas with pic-nik tables and are for tent camping. There are a few port-o-potties sprinkled throughout the facility and one building that we saw that has restrooms and showers.

First of all I will say, the young office staff are friendly...scenery is beautiful, BUT when you are mislead by the layout of the park, on the Website and how close you are to the River. This is why a 3 star. To get to the, River, you have to walk down a steep slope that is about a 20-30 foot drop. So to me, the only people that can enjoy the River, and easily walk down to the River, are the young and healthy. My Husband and I were unable to sit by the water., because its hard for us to walk down or up that slope. I was unable to take pictures of the River because of the drop.

We have a pop up and stayed there one night. It's a great location. Close to the river. Decent price for the general area. Sites are very close together. Not much privacy. Not many shade trees. Bathroom situation has some opportunities for improvement. Toilet stalls have curtains for doors lacking privacy. Showers are cold water and motion sensor controlled. No hooks or benches to hang or place toiletries on. I didn't get the impression that the bathrooms are cleaned regularly. Lots of permenant residents. It makes us temporary guests feel unwelcome - almost like we're trespassing. There's a sign when you first pull up says that if you drive past this point you'll be fined double. Not a great welcome to guests. They do allow one night stays which is a plus. Also not overly lit at night, so it makes for great star gazing!
