Great campsite. For bike packers, it is at the top of a steep hill!

Has water source, garbage and recycling bins, central location. Site 1 is not reservable and available for 1 night stays only. It is near the outhouses so be prepared for the occasional waft when the wind shifts. Not a big deal during my stay, and did not present an issue. The Heart Trail at the back of the campground leads to the nearby disc golf park, it's a moderate 25 minute walk one way. There are fire pits at each site and you may be able to buy firewood from an attendant. I didn't do this personally so I cannot say for sure.

Clean, quiet, beautiful. A perfect central location for whatever nature excursions you might be planning. And the beautiful buck that was often munching his way through the greenery was a special plus.

Only 17 sites. They are spacious and mostly private, there are shared sites. The facilities are primitive yet clean. The area is quiet amid a temperate rainforest and a short drive from the ferry. It is a central location.

Great little campsite on Pender. Pit toilets were newer and clean. Great location, relatively quiet, generally private treed sites.

Dusty, close to main road, and so many kids running around all the time. No such thing as a quiet place.

Drove around the campsite. A little shady, but not too bad. Was quiet as a mouse In the middle of May. Nice sites. I think they were cheap like 10 bucks a site.

With WOODS on Pender fully booked up, I lucked out finding a spot at this National Park. What a treat to discover such a convenient camp site while spending the night on Pender Island. Nothing fancy, just a good, clean and nature-backed campsite - which is exactly what we needed to unplug. I recommend the sites on the back of the looping park road to be further from the busy main road. The sites were very well maintained and each had generously sturdy picnic tables to use. The best part of our stay here? Pop around the corner for one of the best dinners you can find, in the city or the forest, over at WOODS on Pender and say hi to Curtis for me.
