We stayed here for 2 nights tent camping on our way to Newfoundland. Not a big place with both rv and tent sites. Bathrooms are clean and the beach is awesome. Pet friendly.

Well maintained camping grounds. We tented. Only 12 spots, but availability is good. Everything here is old school. There is a web site, but you reserve by phone and you pay by cash. Washrooms are older style construction, but well maintained and freshly painted in red and white. Beach access is there. A little over a dozen seasonal RVs parked, and they were all very quiet. Good wireless so you can check the weather forecast, etc. I like the north shore because people are respectful.

Had a great stay here last night. Thank you Chris for your kindness and humor. Beautiful and clean park, updated bathroom, and gorgeous views off the coast.

Beautiful location, playground looked modern and fun for the kids, the washrooms could use an upgrade, the beach was pretty but very rocky and the stairs were ok but not safe. Seasonal campers were very friendly and nice. My husband and I visited and said we would love to bring our children back. However, after our nightmare experience with the owner we will not ever return. We booked into the campground at 6pm for site 22. The site was squished and not enough room, so we returned to the office and asked for site 20. No problem! The front desk was very kind and accommodating. We returned to site 20 we set-up, had a bbq, went to enjoy the beach, returned and were having a fire and making snacks. Then the owner, which we had not met until this moment, aggressively pulled his car into our site, shone his high beams in our faces, and got out of his car screaming at us to move and that we did not book this site. We explained we switched at the desk. Not our fault. He was out of control, throwing his arms in the air and yelling at us to “move right now and we will move right now!” He made such a scene that the entire campground came to a lull as he screamed at us to move. We the customers were completely calm and he the business owner was acting completely inappropriate, ignorant, and rude. It was an incredibly poor showing of customer service and Nova Scotia Tourism. Eventually he sped off and we stayed in the site because we paid for the site but the trip was over at this point and we left early morning. I’m incredibly disappointed in my experience at this beautiful campground. I’m thankful we did not have our children with us during this trip. After the owner left, I said to my husband, I’m concerned that man is battling mental illness like dementia because that behaviour was completely erratic, and not professional at all. I do not recommend this location as a travelling camper.

The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating to our situation. Excellent grounds with a view of the water and beach access. We didn’t swim, but our dogs loved the freedom; there was a steep cliff closing in the beach, so they could only stay on the beach… would recommend for a night or two on your way through the area. Close to Pugwash, Wallace bridge, and Tatamagouche.
