We arrived at Gull Lake Campground yesterday afternoon and were immediately impressed by how lovely, neat, and tidy the site was. The grounds are well-maintained, and the natural beauty of the area is truly a sight to behold. However, we encountered a significant issue that marred our stay. There was a lack of clear communication regarding the drinking water pollution. This information should have been prominently displayed at each entrance and at every campsite's water tap. Unfortunately, the only notice was posted at the washroom door, which is not sufficient, especially for RV campers who typically drive in and hook up to fill their tanks. We had already connected our RV, and by the time we saw the notice, it was possibly too late. Now, we cannot be sure that our tank water is still safe to use, which is a serious concern. This oversight is a serious health concern and should be addressed immediately to ensure the safety and well-being of all campers. Clear and visible signage at key points would prevent such issues in the future.

Nice little campground in a great location just off the TransCan. Campground host does a great job keeping the grounds nice and the bathroom and showers were immaculate. Didn't even see a spiderweb which is a miracle in any campground. It was quite busy when we were there Sunday and still nice a quiet. Have stayed here before and will again when we come through the area.

Most of the time I have a pretty reasonable experience to a good experience at any restaurant or hotel that I go to. This campground on the other hand was a little bit tough to review. It is a small town campground, and it, overall, was not bad, clean, a bit dated (I really liked the feel) and a bit small to get my trailer worked into my particular site because of a big tree. Nothing unusual with that. I will rate the campground with -- "a great little campground." Yes, I will happily recommend it except for the below. The experience is/was a different thing. The houses out on the street outside were all fairly decent, clean kind of upscale houses, and well looked after but there was, I'll say, three houses that seemed they were having a contest to see how much noise each individual house could produce and annoy others. Two loud trucks (early morning idle for 10 minutes), revving a vehicle as if working on it, and other crashing and thudding noises. And this went on through the day and evening. Not constantly but often. Then on top of all that, the town street sweeper machine made a total of six or seven passes on the street outside and, of course, they move slow by design and function but somehow I think that this particular machine was doing something other than what it normally should do. Testing the machine, perhaps? This went on for about 30 minutes and I did notice after the fact that it didn't seem to clean the street properly because there is still gravel in the gutters that would or should normally have been picked up. Obviously not the fault of the campground and as I said I recommend the campground as a neat little place, not expensive, clean showers and looked after but unfortunately the experience was a bit less great. So expect the residents outside to be ....not considerate.
