Hagerstown / Antietam Battlefield KOA Holiday
Bring an inner tube for a lazy float along Conococheague Creek.
At this KOA, you can take a lazy canoe ride under a bright canopy of leaves. There's great fishing in the creek too! Meander along winding paths through extensive, lush rock gardens. Relax in the gazebo surrounded by flowers and herbs. The kids will enjoy our jump pad, a playground, an outdoor theater, swimming pool and oversized chess and checkers. Participate in themed weekends during the summer. Check out the Haunted House in October, a chilling experience. On weekends, stop by KOA's nostalgic Remember When Diner. Enjoy hamburgers and fries, pizza or a crab cake dinner, as well as a full breakfast menu. Indulge in the soda fountain's old-fashioned malts, shakes and floats. With this KOA as your home base, visit Antietam, Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry battlegrounds. It's a great place for Scouts, church groups and family reunions. Pool: May 28 - September 5. Max pull thru: 60 feet. Your hosts: the Durham family.

Love this campground. Reasonable rates. Friendly, helpful staff. I feel like the sites are spaced well enough apart that you dont feel as tho you're on top of your neighbor. The sites along the water are beautiful. Again, lovely place to camp...my favorite locally.

We enjoyed our first stay here in September 2025. Check in was extremely friendly. Camp store was visually appealing and looked to offer some fun options. Cabin was extremely clean and well cared for. The best offering of outlets we’ve ever seen in a primitive cabin! Fun stuff offered for all ages, and also great food offerings on some days. Restrooms were clean. Only minor downfalls were that we felt that parking at our particular cabin could potentially be tricky. Also some cabins are a little too close for comfort, as we felt it difficult at times to not feel like we were in our neighbors laps. Overall we loved it here and most definitely have added it to our list of preferred stays when traveling in that area. Highly recommend! You can see a video of our experience on Hammocks to Coasters on YouTube.

Extremely convenient. Close to the highway. The roads are very dusty because everything is just gravel. The staff was very helpful. They have a guide in a golf cart that takes you to your site. The store was fully stocked. The restaurant was very nice and clean. We had a pull-through site. We only stayed one night as we were heading south. But we would definitely come back here as there's a lot of history in the area. It's really nice being on the river. We would have liked to have gone kayaking but did not have a chance. We had water, sewer and electric, full hookup. The sites are very close together and we were at a site with two cabins which happened to be empty during our stay but if they had had people in them it would have been overwhelming. I love how they have flowers everywhere. They also had some really cute ducks.

We stayed here 2 nights in site 43. Our site was Water + Electric hookups and on the Conococheague Creek. We have a 24 ft trailer, for reference. The site was level, spacious, and well maintained (there was some weed eating that needed to be done in parts, but like the rest of the East Coast, the amount of rain this spring and early summer has put everyone behind on those kinds of things). The bathhouse and laundry room were definitely older, but very clean and well maintained. The pool was wonderful on a hot day! They had lots of fun activities scheduled for kids, but the teenagers didn't partake in any of them. They have a diner open on the weekends for breakfast and dinner, and my husband and kids said it was wonderful! (I have food allergies, so I didn't go with them.) We were 25 minutes from Antietam, and 25 minutes from the Pennsylvania Dutch Market. We were able to do both, and this location made that really convenient. The staff here was absolutely amazing! They were kind and friendly (even to the teenagers asking random questions about random things), helpful (they came around to let us know of a bad storm coming in, then again after the REALLY heavy rain to check if any of the sites had standing water, if everyone was okay, etc), and you can tell they really care about their campground and the people spending time there! The dump station was easy to access and not busy at all during checkout hours. Overall, we would recommend this campground, and we would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area!

Make sure you ask a lot of questions. The camp is not set up with full hook ups everywhere. We registered for a full hook up site but only received power and water when we arrived. There were no full hook ups available at the time. The park itself is nice but tight. If you have trouble backing, you will have trouble here. We stayed one night instead of three. We went to the site and got set up and realized that we had to go to the dump station to clear out our tanks. We broke everything back down, went to the dump station and then set back up again. Trash pick up is done at your site by 10 AM. The staff in the store were very nice and helpful. We just couldn’t make it work this time. We will be back knowing what we know and we’ll get set up properly. Fire pits and picnic tables are available at each side and they also sell wood there at a fairly reasonable price.
