Worst camping experience in over 20+ years. I'm a seasoned avid camper and the tent campground has very small sites, zero privacy (no hedges/bushes/trees between camp sites), old and dirty bathrooms/showers. This is where the city folks come with their loud music and drinking parties with no respect for other people who want to enjoy quiet time in nature as a getaway. If you're going to be disruptive and disrespectful stay home and just party in your backyard! My husband and i couldn't even have a conversation next to each other as our ears were filled with blaring music 24/7. Neighbors had music on as soon as they woke up at 9am all the way until past midnight. Reporting it to the park office is no use because as soon as they drive away, people just turn it up again. The rule is quiet hours after 11pm but the office and patrol goes home after 11 so there's noone to enforce the rules making it very frustrating for those with young kids and ppl who want a good rest. At one point there was a music war between two sites, then teenagers that stay up until 4am - what a nightmare weekend. I will never come back. Beware campers! The RV sites look good. Big grassy patches. People seem more respectful there. Beach is nice and private.

Beautiful and clean campground. We had an amazing stay and everything was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful and our wood was delivered in a timely manor. We stayed in a heavily wooded area so if you're afraid of spiders then this area may not be for you! 😅🕷️🕸️

Rocky, little and fishy beach but decent park with lovely Willow Trees. Sadly there is no accessable means to get to the beach for those with mobility issues.

We recently enjoyed a peaceful one-night camping trip that offered exactly what I was looking for—tranquility and a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The campsite was quiet and well-maintained, making it an ideal spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature. While there were no hiking trails, the serene environment more than made up for it. It was wonderful to just relax, listen to the sounds of nature, and recharge. The facilities were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, this is the place to be!

Great place. No pool and beach has been eroded badly but love the spot. Could definitely use an upgrade on the swing sets for the kids to play on.

We had an enjoyable stay at a full service transient spot with our trailer. Pros: Very quiet Full service (no water pressure or hydro issues) Firewood delivery to your campsite Friendly staff Landscaping well maintained Small convenience store in nearby Peacock Point 20 mins from Port Dover Cons: Transient spots are right next to each other in a large open field (no trees or privacy) Spots very unlevel Hook-ups in an odd location on some sites Beach is in very poor shape due to high water levels TIP: Really nice tenting sites in the 'back loop' of the campground, nestled in a pine forest. It was extremely quiet with only 1 tent camper.

Wonderfully quiet site. We tent camped, and was very pleasantly surprised at how clean and lovely this cons was after some terrible experiences at other cons areas.

A decently sized mostly trailer based campground. Small beach and a small playground, good for trailers however the tent area is small and out of the way.
