Helpful staff. Very quiet park. Canoes and paddleboats available. Great fire pits and kiln dried wood.

I take my parents here every year. We rented a cabin this year. I absolutely love this place. It's always pretty quiet when we go. Fishing and Kayaking here is great. BASS are usually the catch here with right bait. Staffs always friendly and helpful. Thank you for all your hard work! Highly recommend this location.

Staff were great! great location, stayed at site 29, loved it. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Though the bathroom is a little far from site 29, just a heads up there. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that the office closed at 6, so buying wood can be tricky if you run out and go out for the day etc. Will very likely be back though.

Great campground! First time camping at a VT State park; customer service was great, firewood and ice available and a little library, check-in was easy, sites clearly numbered and clean. Bathrooms were very nice and although they have coin operated hot showers it wasn’t that difficult to get the hang of. It’s definitely a kid and family friendly campground but everyone observed the 10pm quiet hours. Water was wonderful too and pricing what you’d expect for a state run location. 5/5 stars.

1st camp in Vermont and it blew our expectations. Got a cabin on the water in September. No crowds, barely any people and everyone was very respectful. Most spaces seem private with lots of foliage and good proximity to water & amenities. The restrooms were ample, clean, bright, and the whole place felt very safe. Kayaked on pond full of Lily pads and hiked to a couple different bodies of water. The play area was grassy, huge, and equipped with swings, volleyball and basketball nets. Idk if all VT state parks are this nice but we're coming back next fall.
