I spent two summers at Half Moon as a seasonal camper and enjoyed it to the fullest. It was my first time being a seasonal camper and Half moon had everything I needed to enjoy my time and feel safe. I unfortunately didn’t really take advantage of all their cool amenities and I know they are building more. I will miss calling Half Moon Lake my summer home but I will definitely be back to visit/camp! & shoutout to Brad & the rest of the Half moon staff you are all great!

This was our first and last time booking with this campsite. We paid $85 a night for a small camp site with very little privacy that allowed people to constantly walk through our site to get to theirs. We lost power Friday and Saturday and later found out that half the site did as well. We were not offered any compensation. The pool was very busy, had very murky water and we later found out that people who were using floating devices at the beach were bringing them to the pool and cross contaminating the water. The amenities for kids were nice but did not make up for the dirty facilities and over all over priced sites. We went down to the beach to play badminton, there were seasonal campers there that made us uncomfortable and were unhappy that we were the allowing our children to play badminton on the beach. Check in time is 2pm and check out is 11 which means on a long weekend we paid for 4 days but in actuality only got 3. As a kid I had camped here lots and this was not at all the experience that I remember. I now understand why this campground has received very few positive reviews. All in all the staff were friendly and tried their best to assist unfortunately this did not make up for all the other shortcomings. I hope in the future this campground takes the reviews seriously and reflects to make positive changes.

We stayed two nights in the overnight camping area, and it was the most expensive and least enjoyable campsite I’ve visited. Family time was great, but the campground experience was poor. I noted on our reservation that my wife uses a wheelchair. I was told there was wheelchair access, but only one washroom in the entire park was truly accessible, and it was in the seasonal area, far from the overnight sites. Other washrooms had stalls that couldn’t be used with a wheelchair and doors you couldn’t enter without help. We asked about moving to an empty seasonal site near the accessible washroom and were told no. Based on Alberta Human Rights Commission guidance, RV parks must provide accessible services and make reasonable accommodations, which didn’t happen here. Quiet time is listed as 11 pm, and they claim security monitors the site, yet there was loud partying until after 1 am. When we mentioned it, we were told we should have called at the time. Overnight sites were cramped with little tree cover, the food was overpriced and poor quality, and facilities were run down. Cost was about double what I’ve paid in Jasper, which offers much better camping. Seasonal RV spots looked fine, but I would not recommend the overnight camping area, especially if you need accessibility or a good sleep.

This resort is a family friendly. There is something for everyone from kids to adult. Pool was clean and well maintained. Camp site is is not crowded. It is because people is limited only for those who booked which is good idea. We love every inch of it.

They resort needs to provide photos of each site it's really hard to gauge what the site is going to look like and if it's going to be appropriate for your unit without being able to see it other than in a diagram. The site I booked looked nice and big but when I got there I was really quite disappointed. The electricity and water are nowhere near the back of where the trailer would sit.. We actually had to go buy a longer hose in order for us to be able to connect to the water. So be aware and make sure you bring hoses and electrical cords that are long enough.. the electrical cord was a giant tripping hazard, but we didn't really have much of a choice. They have security rolling around, till about 11:00.. but then nobody is there to enforce the late night quiet time.. I used a tent in a separate site from where I was booked, and we got to listen to a domestic dispute at 2:00 a.m., as well as a screaming kid that the parents decided that taking them outside of the trailer would be far better than keeping them inside the trailer........ This obviously isn't the problem of the resort, however, enforcing quiet time is. Every other aspect of this resort is incredible! The family friendly side of it is worth checking out! I may return, but I won't stay in the 700s.

A great RV campgrounds close to Edmonton. Plenty of sites from no hook-ups for tents through to full hook-ups for RVs. Lot's of mature trees giving shady areas on the warm days. A beach, min-golf, showers and washrooms. Site staff were friendly and helpful. One of the nicer RV parks we've stayed at. Will definitely return next time we are visiting the Edmonton area.

Daily rates to use the beach. The sand beach was well kept and clean. Plenty of space for families. Facilities were well kept and clean. Staff was friendly and beyond helpful. Definitely can’t wait to go back! Would like to see more up keep on the mini golf course. But free to play with a deposit on the club. So can’t complain.
