It was a somewhat nice KOA. It was quiet and had no issues with hook ups even when being there on a holiday weekend. Site was fairly level which was nice. No issues getting a 40' class A with tow vehicle in and out. Good location near the highway to get to Halifax or other areas. It would be nice if they could expand their entrance a bit though. Anybody checking in blocks the entrance. The laundry has a 24/7 sign on it but they close it in the evening.

My kiddos and I come here a couple times throughout the Summer and we love it! My kids have a blast everytime! The staff are always a really good group and its just a nice little get away! I've also come a few times for a girls weekend away as well! Highly recommend!

I wish there would have been more planned activities for the kids. They did have a movie night and pancake house for breakfast. That was a cool perk! The pool was chilly but beautiful. The games room was inexpensive and fun for the kids. The jumping pillow was a huge hit but its surrounded by medium/hard gravel so it made it a little dangerous. About a 25 minute drive to get anything but the main office had lots of supplies. It was fun!

It's a very basic as far as a KOA campground. The wifi never worked for the three days we stayed, my wifi signal showed 3 out of 5 for signal. I am guessing too many people connected at once. The ice cream shack and pancake 🥞 breakfast shacks were a very nice touch. It's a bit far from everything we wanted to see. Overall. I would recommend this place.

The family that runs this place is amazing. We had significant car trouble before we got here. They helped guide us into our spot after hours. Gave us tips on where to get our truck fixed, helped us out tremendously. Amazing family run campground.
