I fished from kayak almost every week last year. The guy in the black explorer was always there watching.. I haven't been this year because the price went up and the road is horrible. The fishing is ok but please fix your road.

Wish old man Hames was still able to get around like he us to. Back in the day we use to hangout here back before we where even able to drive. Done alot of Fishing there as kids too. Once I got my license, I got a boat and that was our go to place to launch every weekend. Maybe one day the old marina will come back to life.

Hames Marina.... I have lived down here on these waters for 8 years. It is welcoming and I call it home. Nice quiet and laid back.

It had served it's purpose at the time I needed a rental property to rent for myself and my family. Everyone minds their own business and it's a pretty quite place to stay at. The lake part is beautiful and the fishing isn't half bad. The children enjoy the swimming and everyone who resides at the property are kind and have lived and rented there for multiple years so faces are familiar which makes a person comfortable with their surroundings and company. All in all it's not a bad place to go live or to just spend time with friends or family. There wasn't then when I lived at the park and isn't still to this day any rift raft or problems like many would think. It's basically a quite place where people do their own thing and stay out of yours.
