Lived here full time for 2 half years and LOVE it here. Highly recommend if just for weekend or full timers.

Super nice people that manage this place and super nice people staying there. So friendly that they came over and offered to help with connections. They have a dog park and a playground for children. Quiet, and reasonably priced. Half of a KOA, but no showers or laundry.

Went in late June with my grown kids and grandkids. Felt like the campsite was all gravel. Very little grass. Very hard to back trailer into because the 1 road in is narrow. Had very little nature feel. I guess I'm used to state park campgrounds. 🤷

These guys are awesome! We just stayed, and everyone was so nice. We didn't have our adapter for 50 amp, and they let us use theirs without hesitation. 5 stars for sure. If we are in the Somerset area again, we will definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Happy Camper RV Park. Austin and Ashley were awesome, very friendly and helped us with all of our questions. This campground is small and quiet and the grounds are very well kept and sites are nice. Our site had little tree coverage, but others towards the back end of the campground were much more shaded. There is no bathhouse at the campground, which was not a deal breaker but would be a nice addition. They had a cute little obstacle course/ninja warrior course set up for the kids that they were able to play in and a pretty good size dog park with a nice bench under the trees. Did not get to visit the creek, but it looked like the access was well maintained for the kids to play in. My only complaint was that we did not know our site number before arrival and there was no "check in" to provide our site. We had to walk around to the sites to identify which was marked for us at arrival. Would be nice to receive a quick text message or email to provide site number the day of or day before just to avoid some confusion. The campground is located right by Somerset, so there is plenty to do nearby. On a hot day, I highly recommend the waterpark or rent a boat from the campground to explore the lake!
