Highway 401 very close and noisy. Sure a great place for RV. Sites for tents are exposed with a line of trees behind. Toilets and showers weren't cleaned up for the 3 nights we stayed. Owners and campers were very kind and helpfull in general. Some campers could have a lot of fun late at night around the fire. Dogs owners didn't always pick up after their pets.

We stayed here for just one night and unfortunately didn’t have a great experience. When we arrived, our campsite hadn’t been cleaned — there were cigarette butts all over the ground — and our neighbour’s belongings were spread across our site. It was clearly not prepared for us. We also didn’t have a picnic table, which was frustrating. The hook ups were on the wrong side for us, which made things rather difficult. The sites themselves are extremely small and very close together — we were almost touching the trailer next to us — and there’s absolutely no shade, which made things uncomfortable in the heat. There also isn’t much for young kids to do: no playground, so it’s not the most welcoming spot for children. This place is also very close to the highway, so it is quite noisy. To top things off, we tried calling the campground six times during open hours to ask a question before arriving, and no one ever picked up the phone. This place might be okay for a quick overnight stop, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a comfortable or family-oriented stay.

This place was nice. Only spent 1 night. Staff were great. Definitely more older ppl... quiet and clean. I came with kids and pets, so I felt a bit out of place. There was no playground that I could see... The pool was a bit on the green side for me... could have used a cleaning or chemicals to help with that.

I was only at Happy Green Acres for a few hours to hear 3 bands play on Friday night. I paid $60 for one evening of the "Rock the Acres" musical festival. The venue for an outdoor concert is excellent - with a covered section just in case - and a grassy area beside for those with pets / vaping / smoking / enjoying the sunshine and/or the space. My friends were camping there, so it sure was handy to have a place to walk over and get a bite to eat or change clothes or whatever in between sets. Worth the drive! Thanks to Happy Green Acres for organizing the festival weekend and bringing in good live music.

The camp ground is a very nice spot for families and seasonal camping. We have a 5th wheel for our camping needs. The problem we had was the placement of the utilities ,for us to be able to hook to sewer we needed at least 45 feet of hoses The electric and water needs at least 30 feet , this usually is not a problem but needing services should be considered and advised when booking so you are prepared.
