We were on our third day of solid driving from FL and wanted to get our black tank dumped before we got home to ABQ. Stopped at multiple locations along I-40 west of Santa Rosa to no avail. Called from the TA truck stop and was relieved to learn they had one and it can be accessed after hours and paid for ($15) on the honor system. Happened to catch the manager at the end of her day on the office and she was super friendly. Dump station was all you need and nothing you don't. Really happy to gotten that done and will take advantage again if need be. Thanks Happy Trails for allowing the use of your dump station to "passer-bys." š¤š¼

I enjoyed it! Would have gave a 5 if there weren't so many stickers on the ground! My doggy had trouble walking around. Nice spot with trees, and pretty quiet. Overall, comfortable.

It's an older campground, quite small but a very welcome overnight stop. I guess my biggest complaint is dirt/dusty driveway. The site is very long and very level and plenty acceptable in width. No septic at my site(#1), but they doo have a pull up dump station. Our 50amp service had very good voltage at 117.9vac with both our a/c units running on high. Only reason for 4 stars was dusty driveway. Oh, o e more thing, the office staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful.

Our motor home sprung a diesel fuel leak and we were referred to the Happy Trails Campground by the TA truck stop in Moriarty NM. We pulled right in to the only spot available, and the managerās husband looked at the motor home and had it repaired by 8:00 AM the next morning. We were four women and one child and were so happy they were so kind, friendly, accommodating, and helpful to us anxious women! Quiet and excellent location for an unplanned overnight stay. Definitely would stay there again even with no breakdown. Rose and her husband Dave came through for us and we just canāt thank them enough! Bathrooms and showers are roomy and ADA accessible! Very nice!

Not the most beautiful location, kind of sandwiched between a school bus parking lot & nearby gas stations. But it is convenient, and a friend & I - each in our own RV's stayed for 2 nights to avoid some weather on our route. The parking was level- rarely has my level been spot on center! 2 BEST THINGS: the Mgr, Erin, is awesome. Sooo helpful and friendly- really makes you feel welcome! And the other "Best" was the showers! Apparently recently remodeled & spacious with plenty of hooks for towels, clothes etc. Home style cabinetry, bench. Has the bars for handicap access & a roll in shower with fold down seat in shower. The water flow is nice & hot enough for any weary traveler to relax in. (I am a frequent boondocker so showers in my camper are military style- thus my excitement over a good long hot shower!š) meant to take more pictures... next time. Yes, I would stay there again- OH, very reasonably priced too. With taxes about $59 for 2 nights with water & electric. (NO sewer at my site, but I noticed some sites have it. & I forgot to ask if they had a central dump station as I had serviced my tanks just a couple days earlier.) Call Erin, she'll give you all the details!

The place overall was flat and easy to hook up. We pulled in late and just picked a spot, which luckily was OK with management. After waiting for them to open and we paid and then left. As I was hooking up I noticed that the manager/owner was out trying her best to operate a rental mini backhoe in the freezing, blowing cold, that takes some guts to be out there.

Not quite the place I was expecting based on the website but it was clean and the owner/host was friendly. Would definitely stay again next time we're passing through Moriarty.

Great park manager, Debby Fenton. Very friendly and went to all lengths to help us get set up.

The best part of this place was the manager, Debbie. She was so friendly and helpful and eager to please. She is a gem and they are lucky to have her. The rest of the place needs some work. It sounds like it had been under construction for some time but it doesnāt appear much has been done to spruce it up. Strips of metal lying near the bathrooms and old towels/blankets hanging on the fence gave it a disheveled look. One of their dryers in broken leaving only 2 working. They need a load of clean gravel on the lot to cut down on the dust and the waste pipe was the exact size of our hose which meant it was hard not to spill over the top. It needed to be a bit bigger so there is a clean fit. Very unsanitary. The spots were also very tight and zero extras like picnic tables. I probably would not stop for more than a night. Looks to be mainly populated by long term stayers which is not a big deal except for their stuff on the outside makes it look like a trailer park. Definitely stayed in nicer parks for the price. We paid about $39.

No frills, easy off and on, just off I-40. Quite except for the fireworks that went off sometime around 9. Just afraid for a minute we were in the midst of a shoot out. lol Weāre 40ā pulling a tow car and we were able to park without disconnect. Debbie was friendly and helpful.
