This place has been absolutely amazing. Every host we've interacted with has been friendly, professional and helpful. The grounds are well kept and their facilities are top notch. We will be staying here again. Oh yeah our site was pretty much level when we backed in, we really only needed to put uor revelers down to stabilize our coach.

The management here (Kathleen) and the campground puzzle master (Tami) go above and beyond. The campground is really nice and they will help you get backed in! Trust me. Tami is really great at it. The grounds crew stays on top of the falling leaves, too.

We stayed here 2 weeks mid October 2025. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Every single one of them. The bathhouse was brand new and kept fairly clean with lasting hot water. The water was either city or cleanest well ever. I would say its a mix of 50 / 50 annuals to not. The other guests were all super friendly - we make it a point to chat people up wherever we go. We have TMobile away unit for internet. It had 3 bars with iPhone down speed of about 250 and up speed of 25 ish. A couple of mornings it seemed to be really throttled but it rebounded in just a few hours. They have a giant parking lot where you can stage when getting checked in. They also allow you to boondock if you get there the night before. The sites are good enough for us in our 33 foot class A. They have basketball courts which I used every day. The clubhouse has foosball and pool table and a TV with satellite that I used to watch some football while we played pool. It is about 15 minutes from Colonial Beach which is a nice little beach town if you will on the Potomac. We went to Sunflower restaurant 2 times while there. It was great fusion of Asian and English food (I think). Food lion is in town. So all in all it was a good stay. Not a ton to do around there but it was nice for what it was.

We stopped here and spent 4 nights. This is a well maintained campground. Our site was level and easy to get in. Staff members were friendly and helpful. We are off to FL now, but definitely will be back. Thank you!

The best Thousand Trails camping side ever! So nice, clean, peaceful! Huge swimming pool (3ft to 10ft). Which my kids and I enjoyed the most. I was able to practice diving with them. Not crowded. People who work there are so nice, friendly and helpful. They answered every question we had. They took us to our campsite. We didn't have to be stressed out about which spot to take. They cut the grass around our camper. There's a large parking lot in front of the main building, making it easy for drivers of large RVs or campers to make U-turns. The area is beautiful and quiet. There's a fishing pond, mini-golf, and a huge play area for kids. The main building has a laundry room, a pool table, and a TV. We are very pleased with our vacation and do not regret the time spent in Virginia.
