Harborview Inn & RV Park

Overview

Harborview Inn & RV Park offers a unique blend of motel accommodations and RV sites situated right on the edge of the scenic Tillamook Bay. This destination is defined by its scenic waterfront location and its functional approach to coastal camping. Unlike sprawling commercial resorts, it provides a quiet, intimate setting where travelers can enjoy the natural rhythms of a working fishing village. It serves as a practical, well-maintained choice for those who value proximity to the water and the local harbor culture.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in the heart of Garibaldi, Oregon, the park sits directly across from the Port of Garibaldi. The atmosphere is authentically Pacific Northwest, characterized by the sounds of seagulls and the sights of crab boats returning with their morning catch. Guests are within easy walking distance of the marina, providing immediate access to the bay’s diverse marine life. The surrounding landscape features a dramatic mix of tidal flats, forested hillsides, and the rugged beauty of the northern Oregon coastline.

Amenities & Park Features

The RV sites are designed for convenience and ease of use, offering full hookups with both 30 and 50 amp service. Visitors can take advantage of essential services including the following:

  • Reliable Wi-Fi and cable TV access for every guest.
  • Clean on-site laundry facilities and accessible restrooms.
  • A pet-friendly environment perfect for travelers with dogs.

While the park has a smaller footprint, the sites are positioned to maximize views of the bay and the surrounding coastal mountains, ensuring a peaceful backdrop for your stay.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Garibaldi is widely known as the crabbing capital of the Oregon coast, and the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad stops just moments away, offering nostalgic steam train trips through the landscape. For food lovers, the Tillamook Creamery is a short drive south, offering world-famous cheese tours and ice cream. Outdoor enthusiasts can spend their days fishing off the local pier, exploring the Garibaldi Museum, or taking a quick drive to the expansive sandy beaches at Rockaway Beach or Oceanside.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an ideal match for active anglers and boaters who want to be as close to the marina and boat launches as possible. It also suits coastal road-trippers looking for a central hub to explore Tillamook County without the hustle of larger, more crowded tourist towns. This Hotel is frequently used by fishermen going out of Garabaldi. I find it curious they have a policy that requires cancellation just a few hours before the boat boat captains are able to make the "go, no go" decision based on weather conditions. I wonder how many other fishermen there are like me, that got no refund or credit when their fishing trip got cancelled due to weather

We stayed in the RV Park which is right in the marina of Girabaldi. The park was very clean, pretty shrubs, pull through parking, and a lovely view of the bay and green hills. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. They have nice bathroom facilities with towels provided for your shower! Would definitely stop in again!

One of my new favorite places to stay with our RV. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms/Showers and Laundry area was clean; Loved looking out at the water from our site. Town is very walkable, reminded me of my favorite Fishing town in Alaska. Will definitely be back next year

What an adorable fishing town/village. It feels like time has stood still in small ways in the perfect idyllic coastal fishing town. Fresh seafood all over. Many walkable restaurants. Train passes close by but limited runs never woke us up or made traffic bad. I would call the room small fridge and microwave not a true kitchenette - no utensils or flatware. Very dog friendly! Lots of well behaved dogs. There are several docks great for walking and viewing shore birds. If your lucky you may catch local fisherman using the docks crabbing and see live crabs. The tide goes out and completely changes the landscape you see a different part of the bay. There is a paved walking path around the bay not 100% ada but pretty good. 100% recommend. Family friendly. Senior friendly. Dog friendly.

This was a little gem of a spot! Stayed in one of the rooms in the Inn for 1 night. Beds are comfortable, plenty of space to store bags, fridge and microwave were helpful during a road trip. The shower had good water pressure, but it is meant for shorter people, if you are really tall you might struggle with it. Ease of check in and out through text and an online form to complete. There is a nice walking path on the edge of the water on the other side of the RV park. Really happy we ended up here.
