It's a nice campground, but ran horribly. EVERY site gets to know security after a day or 2 with some kind of complaint and every day it's about something else when it was 'okay' the day prior. Came here with a large group with 5 different sites. Examples: Day 1: Some cars were not fully on gravel (not a big deal, thought we were good after this). Day 2: A truck with a 32' trailer didn't fully fit on the gravel because of a tree. On the 2nd day we were asked to move this truck to over flow parking (a ~5 minute walk) because everything has to be on the gravel. Unfortunately it's a very small site (not labeled this way) and it's not possible to fit, so this truck had to be moved. Day 3 (3 different visits): Event 1: A 30' trailer was not backed into a site and we were asked to turn it around (this was like this for 3 days now). Event 2: A small aluminum (light) golf cart trailer was parked on the grass all 3 days. It now has to go fully onto the gravel or to overflow. Event 3: A golf cart parked on the side of the road has to be moved so security can keep an eye on it better (whatever that means). The tent sites don't have a good way to park anything other than 1 vehicle. If you bring or rent a golf cart, there's no good place for it. There solution is to put everything into overflow parking, which is right on the highway and no one is watching it. No thanks, I'd rather not allow someone to steal my property. Will not be coming back.

Overall this is a nice campground but it needs work. I've been here about five times in the past 15 years or so. It has been quite a few years since I've been here. While they have some nice amenities (pool, mini golf, etc), there are quite a few ways that this place can be improved. When I entered my site, there was a bunch of garbage and food thrown all over the site. It was the worst condition I've ever encountered in my over 40 years of camping. There were also quite a few things in disrepair (toilets, slides, a blaring alarm that was going on for hours). Also, quiet hours don't start until 11 p.m. People were playing in the playground, laughing, shouting, and making an insane amount of noise well past the time my kids and I go to sleep. While I like many things about this place, I'm not sure if I'll come back.

All 23 of our family, young & old, Had a great time. Everyone took turns on the awesome pedal cars. Mini golf and human foosball were fun. Bummer! the big slides were not open. But the pond and other pools were fun. The big blow up toy was fun but definitely needed supervising. Scared kids would get caught underneath it. Gift shop was well priced, and so was wood. Everyone had a great time at the pancake breakfast saturday.

The cabins were very nice, and they had multiple a/c units, so they were comfortable. They are not big, but they are big enough. The putt putt course was fun. The kids liked the monster truck big wheel/bike contraptions that were available to peddle around. The campground needs to do something about the Canadian geese. Way too much goose poop on the beach next to the small swimming lake. The water slides were not operational. Call ahead to make sure they are working; they look really fun. The swimming pool was a good size and had a good layout. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Called week of to be sure all amenities were working. Was told yes, but they couldn't guarantee "something" wouldn't happen. On arrival found out that slides were not running because they needed inspection! I'm not a park owner but would think that would be important thing to be done before the season starts! Pretty neat how there are no cancelations, but no discounts when they don't provide amenities promised. To make matters worse, our first afternoon there a rain cloud went over. So they closed pool. Rain stopped after 20 minutes, but pool remained closed. All the life guards left for the day. Agree with earlier post, website pictures are from long ago. At the Inflatable pond the inflatables were either over inflated (blob) or leaking. No ladders or steps to get on but 1, so smaller kids really struggled. The beach was covered in goose poop. My wife went in shelter to ask if someone could clean it up, as lots of little kids were playing there. Girl said "you could call someone from maintenance for that". Wife replied "do you work here? Maybe you could contact maintenance " girl wasn't helpful, never did see maintenance...maybe they were all working on slides? Or nonexistent? I will say I was happy with the showers, clean enough and warm water. But all in all you need to- Do better Harbour Village
