Very quiet campground when it comes to people, as for location, south campsite is right next to a fairly busy farm road. Numerous occasions through the night where people would honk or rev engines while driving by. And there’s an area of water with clear oil sheen on top. That was pretty gross.

A bit buggy due to the water nearby. Only the South camp was open. North was under construction. Pretty sunset, friendly host.

Very nice and clean campground. Unfortunately we were only here a couple of days passing thru. Nice lake. A 3 mile walk around the lake that looks fun. But it was really hot the couple of days we were here. Will be back

We usually love coming here. But today was a really bad experience. In the beach area where people swim and play, especially kids. There was an enormous amount of dog feces at the shoreline. Some of it was actually starting to get into the water. I called the number for the lake and someone answered. I explained the situation kindly and she said someone would be out to pick it up. 3 HOURS WENT BY, and no one. I watched several kids stepping in it and running in to the lake. The flys were so bad because there was so much. I’m just a little disappointed because we love this lake but it was so disgusting.

Love coming here to fish and just take in the scenery it's just a lovely place. Right now a bit down because of the construction, but still beautiful

There is NO water (September 3rd,2024) however this place is sooooo beautiful that it didn't even matter. We had lunch right by the water, there were so many people here and lots of bikes/ things to do. The camp ground looked awesome and I will absolutely be camping here next year! There were some swings with amazing views and no trash in sight! Bring your family and have a picnic!!!
