One of the few campgrounds that does winter camping but prices are high and didn't make sense. To store a camper for the winter it is only $150 for the season but if you wanna use the camper it's $470 a month for an identical lot. The only difference is weather i say im going to use it or not. Electric lots are the same price as lots with electric and sewage. And your power is metered so your paying 470 a month for a lot barely big enough for a camper and some of the people there and not pleasant as they told me. They do have a heated bathhouse available.

my family are long time campers and we were staying at Wilson State Park. My 19 year old daughter and I rode our bikes from Wilson to check out the park to see if it would be worth staying at. We were riding slowly and respectfully through the park when we were literally chased down by a woman in a golf cart yelling at us that we needed to leave as it was private property. I apologized but really didnt see any signs indicating that we couldn't ride through the park. She was pretty intense but probably keeps a good eye on the park. Honestly though from what we saw, the park looks pretty sketchy and a little run down. So I guess we got the information we needed and would never camp here

We have been coming to this campground for years, It's a very nice place that we call home away from home! So many lakes surrounding this area, and its so nice to take our 4 wheelers right from the campground to the Trailheads! Cindy is amazing at her job, and is such a wonderful Host- Thank you- to all of you, at Harrison RV Family Campground 😊

We stayed at this campground for a few months, and from the beginning, I felt like we weren’t welcome. I had a gut feeling that we’d end up getting kicked out for something unfair—and unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. There were ongoing issues from the start. The rules seemed to apply differently to us than to others. For example, we were told our kids (ages 9, 6, and 5) weren’t allowed to play at the playground without direct parental supervision, while other families didn’t seem to have that restriction enforced. We were also accused of leaving trash in our yard—yes, occasionally a wrapper might fall from the truck when unloading, but we always picked up after ourselves. They also said we couldn’t leave our dog outside on a leash, yet the campers right next to us were allowed to. Then came the issue of firewood. We had brought our own, but the campground suddenly changed the rule, saying only their wood could be used. So we simply stopped using the fire pit entirely. The final straw was completely unjust. After being gone for most of the day (we left around 2 PM to do DoorDash and visit family), we returned around 6:30 PM. No one had reached out or tried to talk to us during the day. When we pulled in and began throwing away trash, a staff member came up and told us we had to leave immediately, claiming there were "three witnesses" who saw my husband stealing firewood. We hadn’t used the fire pit in two months! No conversation, no chance to speak, just an accusation and immediate eviction. For a place that advertises itself as family-friendly, we felt targeted and judged from day one. I wouldn’t recommend this campground to anyone looking for a fair, respectful, or welcoming place to stay.

We travel with my husband for work and we stayed here for 6-7 weeks during Thanksgiving and half of December. I can’t brag on this campground enough, they are so kind and will bend over backwards to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of! We stayed across from the bathhouse which was very helpful when needing to fill our freshwater tank (winter months so water couldn’t be hooked up, but they provided hoses and always came out to ask if I needed help when filling). Our pipes froze one day and numerous people offered help and equipment to get us back up and running. They had a very fun and family friendly Christmas party with a full meal, lots of games and secret Santa we joined in on which means the world to us being so far from family, they became like family to us while we were away from ours. We will be staying in touch with the staff, sending updates on our babies and travels, which says a lot because I’ve never done that with any other campground we’ve stayed at. Shoutout to Cindy, Debbie and her husband for all the help and love you all showed us while we were in Michigan!

I bought a 5th wheel and parked it here and will remain a camper here. I had an enjoyable summer here. Cindy, Alesha, Jack, Gloria, Larry and other camp hosts are absolutely amazing. Everyone was very helpful if I needed anything that I couldn't do. I've made new awesome friends here. From exchanging bake goods to having dinners with Jack and Alesha. Thank you all very much. We had a fabulous time this past weekend. Donna was amazing and very accommodating to my family of 9 adults and 1 dog. Lot of relaxing and very peaceful. Other guests were very nice and friendly as well. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early and miss the fireworks but glad we did because heard there was a tornado warning for Harrison the day we left. We will definitely be back as it was very affordable. Bath house was clean as well

I booked in at this campground for the night so i could spend a couple of hours flushing my tanks and cleaning. When my cord did not reach the electricity and i didnt have an extension, management loaned me one. Then when my ac wasnt working, they loaned me a ladder to get up on my roof. Then when my car battery died they were also able to locate some jumper cables to get it started. I did not stay the whole night, but everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Had a weekend stay here last weekend, it was very relaxing and quiet! Lots of seasonal campers, only a handful of weekenders but everyone was super friendly that we ran into. The park itself is very basic, which is what we were looking for, so we enjoyed it. But if you have a family or smaller kids, there isn't much to do with them there, besides a playground, so keep that in mind. The bathrooms were spotless, cleaned twice a day and well stocked, sometimes that is hard to find in a campground. The sites were spacious and we did not feel crowded at all. They also will deliver firewood right to your site, so that was a nice touch! The staff is also very friendly. Overall it was a good stay for a weekend getaway!

Campground was a great place for us! Four kids, they have had a blast this summer. We are within walking distance to DQ, Clare County Fairgrounds and much more!! Was definitely worth it and we will be back again next year!

Gloria and Larry are absolutely fantastic! They are the most dedicated and caring campground managers I have ever met. They care about every camper and they pull long hours helping everyone get set up and settled in. I especially love how the whole campground is a respectful environment. Nice and quiet at night for sleeping even with the campground full. Nice picnic tables and fire pits. Nice full hookups. Beautiful shade trees. I was impressed to watch a huge fifth wheel pull in to the lot across from us. They barely fit on the lot but got their big rig situated and have enough room for their slide outs just fine. Highly recommend this friendly yet peaceful campground.
