First time visitor. Loved the beach and all the rock picking. They have bathrooms, shelters with picnic tables. Drove thru the camp grounds. Very clean. Bathrooms near the beach need more attention during peak hours when it's busy.

OMG. Had a great time! Camping was fantastic. Stayed two nights during the week, when most of the heavy, down state, weekenders were working. 😂 Took the kayaks and paddled Lake Huron. Beautiful. The shore is really rocky. But paddled out about 30ft to a wonderful sand bar. Take some floaties or something to get you past the rocks.

Beautiful park. We stayed 3 nights on a lakefront spot and were very impressed with the clean and well kept sites. Dog beaches were a HUGE plus!!!!! We will definitely be coming back because of the dog allowed on beach area!!!!! Side note, the north beach that is dog friendly is full of large rocks, and I do not recommend. The south dog beach was amazing though, lots of smooth sand and no large rocks. We spent a lot of time there with our dog and LOVED IT! Pictures from north and south dog beaches.

Beautiful beach and campground nestled in a cedar tree forest. Sites are close and campground can get quite full especially weekends. It is a rock hunters paradise. Beach has loose rocks of many sizes in murky water making it treacherous to walk past them out to sandy part of lake. Recommend boat shoes or like. Bathrooms are new and modern with private, lockable showers.

Stayed on beach front site 77 for Memorial Day weekend. This site is the last site in the row before the restrooms. The traffic was a bit more than we prefer, but the beach front was worth it. The weather was chilly, but the rock hunting was plentiful, and the lake views were beautiful! Restrooms are well kept, and campground hosts were very friendly and gave all of the camping dog treats! We will be cleaning sand out of the camper for the rest of the summer, but we'll worth it! Only minor complaint would be the rain water from the restroom parking lot drained onto our site and down the walkway to the beach.

Nice and quiet aside from them just starting to mow the lawn as I'm writing this. Friendly staff a few trails to walk, and a semi long beach to walk. 47 degrees and with the amount of trees and wind breaks, you can comfortably sit outside with our coats or dressed for a blizzard. (My wife).

I only do State Parks by renting a cabin when the park is closed. During the season it's too much like City Camping. Great place, awesome when there's a total of 6 people in the whole park. Word of warning. Do Not Trust the firewood machine in the off season. It may or may not work and the people don't get back to you. Go down the road and get some. You'll be happier.

We have enjoyed two trips to this state park this fall. Our rv sites were both comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed the walking trails, the beach area, and the views across the lake. The sites only have electric, so we filled our tanks with water when we arrived...and getting the water station is a bit navigational challenging! Roads are narrow in the park and exiting certain sites is challenging because of trees that make swinging onto the road difficult. But...the overall experiences we had while visiting Harrisville far outweighed the small inconveniences.

Can not beat an electric site on the beach. It is worth setting a notification in reservation. Can hear the waves from the RV. Train whistles at night. Our site was plenty big. Nice picnic table and 🔥 ring. Paved parking pad sloped a bit to the back. We checked out the showers and they were recently renovated and looked nice! They also have outdoor showers for summer beach. I enjoyed walking the beach at sunrise and set. Quiet and friendly neighbors. We will hopefully be back.

Great, huge campground right next to the lake. Some campspots are basically on the beach, which you sure can't get everywhere! The bathrooms seemed newly built and offer tons of private showers. Security was ready and eager to enforce quiet hour which was challenging camping with a large group.
