Beautiful campground. We had a very large site but the only tree on our site was taken down, left us in full sun. Bathrooms and showers were sufficient. All in all a nice place. Laundry room was a huge plus.

This is a great weekend getaway. Very nice facilities/restrooms for a campground. The grounds are well maintained, and the views are incredible.

The Lots are spacious and well maintained. The area is very clean with plenty of beautiful shade trees. We learned that if you are staying in lots 49, 50. &56- you need to come in from the wrong direction for best view of lake and water hook up.

Very clean, ground keepers are attentive as well. Law enforcement patrol through here as well, we really appreciated that. No atvs are allowed on property so be prepared to store elsewhere. Swimming area was decent. Other Campers were considerate and friendly. Curfew is 10pm. Visitors have to leave and no radios after that. Oh, give the deer something good for them. They're skin and bones.

This is a lovely, quiet USACE park on a peninsula in Truman Lake. About 3 miles from 7 hwy. Very popular, so reserve early. Large, nicely kept, wooded campground with 3 loops. Nice showers and laundry rooms. Swimming beach area in B loop.
