Another awesome Corps of Engineers campground. Only $5 during the off season ( Oct.1-Nov.30 ) for all campsites including those with Electric hookups with the America the beautiful pass. $10 for all campsites without pass. You are allowed to stay 14 days but then must relocate. Fortunately, you can relocate to one of their other nearby campgrounds with the same low rates. I give this one 5☆'s. There are beautiful, spacious campsites tucked in the trees as well as lakefront campsites. I had decent data & calling near the lake. Most of the campsites are fairly flat and the pit toilets looked very clean. There are frost free hydrants throughout the campground. All of the USACE campgrounds at Truman lake are this same price with the same amenities during the off Season. Campgrounds are closed December - March. off season rates then apply again from March 15 - April 15 when regular season resumes. Please check the Truman Lake USACE website for updates on dates available and for regular season rates. I highly recommend this beautiful campground.

We were engaged in a kayak to camp activity and chose Thibaut Point Campground as our destination for our first night. The location from the water to the campsite was great for our stay, as we were able to leave our kayaks in a safe location as we unpacked and set up our campsite. We were early to the campsite, so there were only a few RV's set up. As the day progressed, more campers arrived. We had two things happen that we thought were worth making note of. The people who arrived to the adjoining campsite to us, brought with them 4 dogs. Although the dogs were well behaved when the owners were present, when they left the next morning for the day, the 4 dogs were left alone, tied to trees and barking for the rest of the morning so that the remaining campers could enjoy the sounds of their barking. The second thing that happened was the RV directly across from us left their lights on for the entire night, making it difficult to sleep. While I recognize I may be alone with these complaints, I thought it was worth noting for others who are looking for a quiet experience.

Clean place to enjoy family. Group site A is wonderful and all individual camp space has electricity hook up. We love it
