We love camping here! We have been coming here for the last year and a half. Very friendly, accommodating, clean tent camping areas, right by the lake.

My family and I visited Lake Hartwell Campground November 2nd - 5th and the weather was perfect. It would get down into the 40-50 range in the evening and 60-70 range during the day with no rain. Site 22, Loop W18 which was close to the entrance and on the water with beach. 30/50 and water hookup, which also had a dump station close by. Walking around the campground, there were a lot of great waterfront sites to be honest, but we thought ours checked off all the boxes. I also felt this campground was the perfect size… there was enough space to walk around and explore, but not too big that it felt overwhelming. VERY CLEAN. We had a pass through site, but it was pretty tight (sharp turn) with a 24’ (30’ total) pull behind travel trailer. Some seem to be much easier than others, so depending on the size of your rig… plan accordingly. Felt the campground seemed pretty safe too, due to setup and access points. Would highly recommend… pictures for reference, but don’t capture how great this place truly is!

Pleasant experience. We chose a campsite off the lake and it was quiet and not much traffic. We were near the bathhouse and got great WIFI reception. The bathrooms were cleaned every morning.
