I’ve visited with my family three times already, and it’s always a great experience. The camp is clean and well-equipped with everything you might need, including water hookups and electricity. Whether you’re staying in an RV or a tent, you’ll be comfortable. It’s also an excellent spot for fishing and boating, and the kids had a wonderful time.

We had a campsite right on the lake, site 73, very nice view, helpful friendly staff. Power and water only, but fairly level pad for the travel trailer and it was a pull thru which was always appreciated. The location is convenient to hwy 28 in Anderson, so restaurants and stores like Walmart are not too far away. Very enjoyable weekend, the weather was perfect for August.

The campground is beautiful, the campsites are spacious and clean. #28 is a pull through and right by the swimming area. Lots of room with a great view. The only reason we gave it a 3/5 stars was because of the bathhouse. Please note they have bathrooms, which are only toliets, and they have bathhouses that include showers and toliets. Because our site doesn't have sewer hook, we booked it close to the bathroom. Again, not realizing the bathrooms don't have showers. First, both the bathrooms and bathhouses do not have soap. There was no dispensers for soap. The bathrooms were fine, with no issues other than lack of soap. The bathhouses, on the other hand, were one star! I have included photos. Walking to the bathhouse closest to our site, there were no exterior lights. The sidewalk was uneven and downhill. Inside was filled with every type of bug. The stall doors were so small that there was no privacy. Honestly, it didn't even cover your legs. The showers were not clean and again filled with bugs.

[Campground INFO(May 2025)] *Site : 64,44 *Electric : 20A,30A,50A *Water : Yes *Shower : warm but not very hot *Fee : $38/day *Ground : gravel *Shade : partial *Wifi : No *Connectivity : not good (AT&T) *Boat Ramp : Yes Note : The entrance gate is physically locked from 10 PM to 7 AM. No one can enter or exit during these hours. I strongly hope they install an automatic gate with a passcode system. Though this is a very beautiful waterfront campground, the bathhouse is old and has no soap or paper towels. Phone connectivity is bad around site 64, but a little better at 44. Boat ramp has narrow 1lane, moderate angle(shallow).

Presently camping here! Theresa greeted me on my way in and was very friendly and excited that I was towing and camping on my own! I dropped my driver's license when I pulled out my camping permit, and a nice gentleman brought it to me! My space, #20 is a pull-through and pretty level . There's good spacing between spots, and I have a great view of the lake, too. Not much shade in the morning, but good afternoon shade. I don't know if it's always like this (I suppose it depends on the campers), but it's been very peaceful. The only part I wish were different is the lake shore, in many spots, has been built-up with rocks and covered with heavy- duty wire for erosion control. The nice beach is no dogs allowed, but luckily, I found a few spots where my dog could go in!

This campground is fantastic. The most beautiful lakeside campground we've ever camped at in 20 years of camping. Every site (except 4 of them) is on the water. 50/30 amp service with water at every site. Sites are spacious. Management was great and the locals were very gracious. The COE designed it right. I could have spent 2 weeks here. Too bad we live in California so I doubt we'll ever get the opportunity to relax in the peacefulness of this place again. We would definitely stay here again.

My dad rented a spot two weeks ago and we came down for the weekend. We definitely had an amazing time. Placed in a quiet cove and stowed away off the main drag. There is a grocery store and a BBQ place that delivers within 10 mins of the campground. Sites were well maintained and our daughter loved the beach and playground. We night fished and caught a ton of catfish off of shrimp. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!

There are some very beautiful lakefront sites here at this COE Campground. Enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back. Wished there were a few more trees but I understand they have to remove some for reasons.
