Clean and pretty campground, no walking trails though. Only other problem, water supply to campsites smells and tastes like it's polluted with chemical pesticides. There are signs on this lake warning not to eat much fish you catch due to contaminates. Bring plenty of filtered water for drinking.

Beautiful camping area, clean bathrooms with shower. Gated area. Very safe.

Great location! The campground is easy to find and set in a really charming little town. It’s only about a 9-minute drive to Walmart and Aldi, so if you need to grab anything, it’s super convenient. There’s even a place right across from the campground where you can buy firewood if you forgot to bring some for your campfire. The restrooms and showers were clean, which we really appreciated. The only small downside was that there was no soap in the restroom. I always choose campgrounds with a nice view — something beautiful to look at when you step out of your tent or from your trailer window — and this place didn’t disappoint. Every spot here has its own charm. There’s a boat ramp, plenty of trees to hang a hammock, and just an overall relaxing atmosphere. My family and I were very happy with our stay and we definitely plan to come back!

We had a great time at Watsadler for our 4 night stay. There was plenty of room at our lake front site. The amenities were fair but doable. The staff was friendly and so was everyone else we came in contact with. We had a pull through site which made it a little easier to park. We did notice a few other sites we would like to try next time. We were at campsite #40 and would definitely go there again.

Very nice campground run by the Army Corps of Engineers. Very scenic campsites, many right on the lake, with water and electric. Free dump station for campers.
