Great camp ground, really clean bathrooms. We did have a problem im a little concerned about, it was really windy so we (me and my daughter) were the ONLY ones at the tent sited. At 12:30 am we here people talking and walking near our tent. I get up to find 5 people had JUST arrived to camp. How did they get in that late? You need a key pass plus a code to get through 2 gates. Was not happy about being woke up at 12:30 am at all. Wanted to be woken up by the birds since it my first time camping in 25 years.. Will stay here again but will bring this to their attention.

Pretty great campground. Only a few full hookups, but nearly all of the sites are rather level. Originally a Georgia State Park, many of the sites are well spaced from each other while only very few will leave you feeling "cheek by jowl" with your neighbor. Don't forget to visit downtown Hartwell! There was something for everyone from cute shops to the candy store to good eats & a great brewery / restaurant!

Great place right on the water. This might be the nicest camp ground we've been to. We've only been camping 5 times so.......... The camp ground rents kayaks, sales fire wood, has clean shower facilities, there is a locked gate, a nature trail to walk. Several boat ramps, you could park your boat at camp site. Spacious camp sites, fire pit and grill. close to town in case you forgot something. You won't regret bringing your famalit here.
