Update April 17, 2025-What a difference since the last time we traveled through Texas. There must be a big construction project in the area. Every single one of the 36 sites was full. It appeared to be folks staying long-term. We headed 33 miles east to the Throckmorton City RV Park, where we were the only RV staying there. November 6, 2023-"Welcome, Haskell RV Park, free overnight parking, stay longer $20 per night, come by city hall or use lock box." Full hookup, water sewer, 30/50 amps, 36 sites, most pull through, level gravel surface, some shade trees, (bathroom building, but we didn't check it out).

Nice RV park that is free the first night. Park has very little vacancy as I believe most campers are long-term residents, so don't count on finding a space. We were lucky. Hopefully, we'll get lucky on the return trip. Park also has the first home built in Haskell in 1888 that has been moved to the park. Close to Kent Kwik truck stop and B&B tire shop. The tire shop was excellent. I had a slow leak on on of my 5th wheel tires. The gentleman removed my tire, checked for leaks, and found out it was my tire sensor that was leaking, so we just removed it. He didn't charge me, but I was relieved to get the problem solved and be on my way. Seems like great customer service at this tire shop.

First night is free! Has a nice little park and a small creek to walk around. Didn't use the restrooms. But it was a nice park while we're were in the area for a bird hunt. Check in and out appear to be on the honor system. We were there 3 nights and never had anyone inquire. Just used the drop box.

Just a single overnight stay while traveling. Great Free spot with full hookups, level with gravel. We stayed in January. First night is free, then additional nights were $12. Would overnight there again.

Um yeah. It’s free for a night… Used only electric but it’s full hookup. Quite a few full timers but pretty quiet for a Saturday night. The public restroom (mens) wasn’t spotless but clean enough for a shower and basic requirements.
