Nice place, reasonably priced, super friendly and helpful staff. If you are camping you should definitely stay here.

I'm in shock with the 4 star rating??? This place is extremely run down. Very rude and condescending people who run it. Obvious favoritism to certain long term campers over others. Police seem to be there often. Camp sites are a joke! Best pray it don't rain or you'll be in a huge puddle. I wouldn't pay $1 to stay here again.

I clean for a client there. The only thing that needs improved is the pot holes need to be fixed because it is bad on your vehicle.

I would give zero stars if i could. These people play favoritism and target people if they arent up to their standards harass them make false reports to local law enforcement and lie to find ways to kick you out. Even with proof unless u meet their standards you will be forced out sooner or later it happened to someone close i will never go there. They think they are better than everyone. They like to violate peoples rights to get what they want.

By far the best campground I've stayed at since I started working. Great people in the office and on the campground. Clean and friendly. Given the opportunity they will help you anyway possible just to name a few people Amanda and Kathy are the one I really got to know.

Good place if the electric would stay on and people would put their dogs up at night when it's time to goto sleep! Other than that it's a great place to stay while working in the area.

Not a great stay during winter/spring time. Lots of flooding. Not kept up well. Horrible wifi/cell service. Not much privacy between sites and some of the long term sites are pretty unsightly (dirty, garbage, and large styrofoam blowing around the resort). Good prices for a monthly stay. Wouldn’t really recommend to others though.

The wonderful staff and great campgrounds draw you in, the activities they hold on the weekends are sure to bring you back over and over. We feel like we're family when we're at Heartland.

Right now an architect is meeting a client who sees what's happening in the camp ground sector and is ready to place a bet on a high end park project. I'm guessing more than one.. my point being soon there will competition for the aging pedestrian variety parks.. If you do some math this park is pulling down conservatively $5000 per/day. A qualified maintenance crew costs about $1200 / day. Over the course of one season the old depression facade could sparkle once more.
