I didn't stay here but my dad did for awhile. It was quiet except for the highway noise and occasional noise from cows. Neighbors seemed to keep to themselves for the most part. Like 99% of the time. Place is very clean, no lots have a cluster of bs on it. Couple of small stores down the road some miles. If you're looking for a no city life, but don't want to be out in the pure boondocks. This is your place.

This place is like a little slice of heaven at a time when places like this are getting harder & harder to find. My husband & I lived there almost 2 years & you will not find a nicer, more considerate & caring site managers than Tom & his lovely wife Patty. Friendly people, lots of trees & beautiful scenery surrounding the area (there are families of white cranes that hang out near the pond). Park benches all over & old-school street lights everywhere. They have a gym & recreation center where they often hold events to allow patrons to get to know each other. It really is very much like a family atmosphere where everyone takes care of each other. They have a great, clean reasonably priced laundry facility as well as male & female showers that are also very clean, & well-maintained.

I have been with this place off and on through 2 different owners. This is by far the cleanest, most well-kept, welcoming RV park in the area (if not the whole US) and what we get for what we pay is awesome. Right now we pay $475 and that includes rent, electricity, water (but bring a GOOD FILTER - the only downside is the water has a bit of a sulfury smell), and most importantly, WIFI. Nice clean laundry facility, a dog washing station at eye level, a library, a gym, little benches and light posts everywhere, and now they've added the option to rent out covered spots. Tom the manager and Kirk the maintenance guy are both really great guys! They truly care about their tenants. In a world that has long since lost its mind, Heartland is a little refuge that doesn't let any of that outside garbage in. We are a quiet, respectful, considerate, friendly community. If that sounds like what you're looking for, look no further! WE ❤️ HEARTLAND

FYI, they are not a member of Passport America. The manager/owner at the desk told me that PA has failed to remove it since two owners ago. I was good with it. Still got a covered pull thru that fit my dually and 42 foot 5th wheel for $35. Seemed like a pretty nice park. I'm not positive, but I think all or most of the sites are covered which is nice. I didn't study the whole park, but speaking for my site and the ones around me, in order for your rig to be covered, you would have to unhook and park your truck behind the rig. If you have a class A, you will fit perfectly. The gentleman in the Office that I spoke with was very nice. There's a bit of traffic noise during the day, but it fades quite a bit at night. I was only there for a quick one night stay and can't speak for the other amenities.

The pricing is more than reasonable for the park as they provide onsite laundry, showers, and a recreational facility. The manager, Tom, is very friendly and knowledgeable about the parts that they sell in the office. There is also a dog park in the back corner of the property which is an excellent place to watch the sun rise!! If I had the opportunity, I’d definitely stay there again

My brother lives here, and I went to visit. The park was shady and it looked lovely. Many of the camper spots were decorated with comfy looking outdoor seating, which made me think many live there.

We drove up here to deliver a Travel Trailer. This RV Park has Lots of Mature Trees and it laid out very nice! The Prices are Great! There are Restrooms with Showers and a Store on Property. The Park is Very Quiet and Well Kept! There is a small pond, with occasional visits from an Alligator! Very Nice RV Park!!!

Excellent place to stay! We were here 8 months while looking for property and enjoyed it very much. Owners are so nice and are always making improvements to make your stay an enjoyable one. Park is well kept, bath houses are clean with great water pressure, neighbors are all friendly and look out for each other. We felt safe, and loved being so far out away from the hustle and bustle. A big step above all the other parks that are around. Highly recommend if you're just passing through or staying a while!

We stayed about 4 days while passing through. The park is definitely older but maintained fine. Our surge protector read open ground on the first pad we went to stay on and they were happy to move us to a different one that read fine. The laundry room was very well kept and it was a great place to walk my dog. They have a little pond on the property that was pretty. The couple that owns it were very nice, our screen door was broken and the gentleman was helpful with my husband. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.
