Went to Henry Horton to celebrate my son and his wifes baby reveal. It was very nice and clean. We were with around 30 other family and friends. We had a blast on the walking with the children and found a great spot to fish with the family any time. We all had a blast, even with a chance of rain, Park employees guided us to a spot that was safe protected from storms. I 💯 percent recommend heading there with the whole family or a place that mom and Dad can have some quality time alone!!

I was really impressed with what was offered when I got to the cabin. They had everything from kitchen utensils to cleaning supplies, so I didn't even have to bring all the stuff that I brought from home, they had a toaster kerig and a microwave, they had baking dishes, pans, cleaning soap, dishwasher, detergent, they had extra pillows and blankets in the drawers for the pull out sofa. One of the Rangers reached out to me during my stay due to the ice storm we had, and that was very kind of him. He gave me his business card and checked on me a couple of times the office also reached out to me and let me know that there was a water issue and that they would give me free water down at the lodge, but they were great with following up and everything. It was just a good experience and hospitality. I'll be back! All of this was dictated. Also... the restaurant on site makes this a perfect place to stay. Thanks Henry Horton.

Beautiful state park! Clean showers, typically where we are from state ran parks do not have great shower facilities but you can tell they put a lot of effort in at this place. It was decorated for Xmas too!

Very nice park. It has a nice visior center, then an exhibit in the visitor center, clean bathrooms and a restaurant that is open daily with open bar. They have a lodge and also cottages for stay. They is a lake and nice trails to go on a walk.

Great state park in Tennessee near family. We had an excellent experience here. Even the other campers were very considerate.

Very nice experience! Actually clean bathrooms and showers. We went kayaking on the one way river with a 3 mile hike back to out vehicle and it wasn't bad. The only thing is the kids have no boundaries when running around. I know it is a camp site but....

We only had an afternoon to spend here, but loved our short ‘hike’ around the campground loop. The helpful staff here made it possible for my son (who is non-ambulatory)to use one of the all-terrain wheelchairs. There was no cost for this., and it enabled him to enjoy the beauty of the state park. we even got to have a picnic way off the beaten path! High five to the park staff and to the great state of Tennessee for providing this wonderful service and this beautiful park!!

We love this place. Free to pull up and BBQ. They have cabins you can rent, RV parking and tenting if you live life on the wild side. You can rent pavilions for what ever you want. Prices vary. There also a full size restaurant that has a full size bar. I know they also have a farmers market but check the website for dates. Very important. Obey the speed limits. There is a long stretch of 30 MPG. OBEY They are watching. Have fun.
