Very lucky to have found a campground here so near to downtown Hermann. I had planned on going further West on the Katy, but headwinds cut my endurance in half and I had to pivot. Called this place and they were accommodating with availability. The showers were hot and the bathroom was heated. It's nestled in a neighborhood near a busy street, so it's not perfectly quiet, but I was tired enough for that to not matter. Proximity to good places to eat after a long day is what made this place ideal.

Very quiet overall. Our space, #51, was creek side with plenty of space. The utility pedestal is quite elevated for potential flooding so recommend be aware of heavy rains. Close enough to the activities and shopping to walk or ride bikes if you’re so inclined. We stayed on an Oktoberfest weekend but the crowds were not excessive. We would definitely stay here again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great campground with easy access from the Katy Trail to McClintock Trailhead. Level sites, online booking only. A little road noise at 19/100, but the four pickleball courts and super friendly locals make it a fantastic stop!

We travel with a group of friends and family so we had 4 RV's in close proximity of each other. Our sites were spacious and fairly level. We had plenty of space to get together around a central fire pit. There are trees and nice shade in some areas. We signed up for the trolley which would pick us up and drop us off at the campground. We had a very enjoyable stay and plan to return at some point!

The park is conveniently located and used by locals and out- of- towners alike. A well maintained swimming pool and baseball diamond are favorites. Our 1st campsite was in the 19-43 section. These back-in sites aren't wide enough to put out an awning. It felt very crowded. Our 2nd site was in the 1-18 section. It rained, and our site was inundated with about 3 inches of water. The next morning, the water had receded somewhat, but it made breaking camp a soggy mess. I guess I expect more for $40 @ night. Still, any chance to stay and enjoy Hermann is a plus!

Campground sites are small and packed in tight but serve as a good basecamp for visiting Hermann or riding the Kay trail. Our trailer is 21' long and along with our truck, barely fit in the site (#17) so plan accordingly. Some sites are larger. Bathroom/shower house was ok. Due to its proximity to highway 100 it is not very quiet but not much you can do about that. And there isn't much highway traffic at night so it didn't hamper our sleep. Overall a good place to camp while exploring the area.

There are three different areas available. One of them is a more traditional RVs site with individual pads separated by grass. Not a whole lot of privacy. The next one down is literally just a paved parking lot. You are right next to your neighbor with no privacy. The one further down is a gravel lot where you are also next to your neighbor, but it's a smaller lot with less people so it's not as light and you're not next to the playgrounds. None of the spots offer much quieter because you're next to the main highway and as you would expect in this area a lot of loud trucks

Great place to stop and take a rest. All the fixings you need to hook up your RV. Nice clean bathrooms, close accommodations/wineries.

Perfect place to camp and ride bikes into town. On bikes nothing's more than 10 minutes away. Grounds were mowed and kept clean, each campsite had its own 55 gallon drum trash can which was pretty awesome. The shower house was very nice as well. We would definitely stay here again in the future! Also each campsite had water and sewer hook ups. With 20, 30 and 50 amps hookups

Full hook ups at all sites. No reservations first come first serve. You pay $30 per night on the honor system. Beautiful big trees, pet friendly, bathroom, dumpsters. Walking distance to many attractions in Herman. They don't take reservations but you can put up a reservation for site on the posts at each site. Weekends are pretty much booked due to festivals. But during the week it's pretty open. Most sites are back in but there are also drive through. We stayed two days and loved it here.
