Quiet for my stay on January 14th but probably to be expected in winter. Bathhouse was fine and the sites all had full hookups. Price was acceptable and site #4 was level. Definitely lives up to the name - hickory trees (and nuts) all over.

We stayed at a tent site and really enjoyed the campground. John greeted us and raked the acorns off the ground where our tent went. Our kids loved the playground. The restrooms were kept very clean and the campground was very quiet. The only drawback is that the tent sites aren't very secluded from the campers and the drive paths. It was so quiet though when we were there (early October) that it didn't matter.

Great campground! We tent camped and it was a great experience. Bathrooms were very clean, campgrounds were well maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!
