The owner/operators are so nice. They helped us get backed in with our 42 foot trailer. It is a beautiful campground with some activities to do for the kids.

We loved our stay at Hickory Holler. We loved the family friendly atmosphere. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating even thought we had accidentally put down the wrong date for our arrival, the staff was super understanding and got us to a site. The bathrooms were clean, showers were nice and hot! Paddle boating was fun along with shuffleboard and horse shoes. There are 2 playgrounds on the property which was nice for the kids. The campground itself is clean and well maintained. We will be back next year.

When looking for a place to camp over the Labor Day weekend, we happened to come across Hickory Holler Campground, and I am so glad we did. It was a very pleasant surprise for sure. The owners were so very nice and friendly, the grounds were very clean, and the sites were well kept. The property isn't very large but the way it is spread out gives it a roomy feel. Everyone was so friendly, and the park was Full. We loved that it was so quiet and very dog friendly. They had some fun family activities planned as well such as a putt-putt tournament, scavenger hunt and family movie night. So, if you are looking for a family/pet friendly place to camp I would strongly suggest Hickory Holler. We will most definitely be staying here again.

Extremely wonderful hosts: Ezra and DruAnne are the best! I can’t really say enough about how helpful and accommodating they are, and so friendly. They are just awesome down-to-earth people. Hickory Holler may not have swimming, but there is a nice pool not too far, and super affordable. What they do have at Hickory Holler is some really beautiful, tranquil, and peaceful scenery. I love to fish, and this was a really great place to do just that! The lakes are well stocked. There are limits on catfish and bass, but if you know how to fish-you will have some decent sized ones to cook up! They have fish cleaning station to make that easier for you also. There is a creek or two here, but I didn’t even go to it. The setup here was just peaceful and nice to enjoy, all through the day! I think this is a gem that many just haven’t found. The best part is, it’s family friendly. You have free options (things to do on site) of horse shoe game, shuffleboard, or croquet. You can play mini golf (putt putt) for just $2, paddle boats ($2), drinks and snacks for a low cost too! Need firewood, bags of ice, propane filled? They have that on site for a good price also! This was our first time here, and we extended our stay-not once, but literally three times! The rules/policies may not be for everyone. But, we enjoyed it. It wasn’t loud, or people partying nonstop. If that’s what you like to do, this place probably isn’t for you. But, if you like nature, country style scenery and living/camping, and enjoy having fun (family-friendly), and tranquil peace for your camping experience, this place might be for you too!

I stayed at Hickory Holler Campground while I was working as an electrical utility contractor. The entire campground is beautiful, the staff was awesome, and the guests were great as well!!! I travel to a lot of campgrounds around the country and they are great. The roads and some of the sites are tight, but they guide you right in and out with ease, so not a big deal. They have great trees and shade for the warmer months, which was nice because I had to work overnights. I had an emergency with my truck during my stay, and they went above and beyond to help me out, and help ease the stress. Beautiful campground, and amazing people!!!

I had a two weeks stay in this beautiful campground which had everything I needed complete hook up service for rv. Love the fact that I didn’t have to drive nowhere to purchase a propane tank nor purchase fire logs this place has it all including washer&dryer. Customer service from family owned is just the best, & very affordable I will definitely go back.

We stayed at Hickory Holler for 2 nights - September 30 and October 1 as a place to stop on a long journey home to Oklahoma. The campground has a FHU section and a couple of water/electric sections - we were in the FHU. One of the camp owners met us as we drove up to the campground for our stay - the owners are a very sweet young couple. We were led to our camp site and give the option to stay in the backup site we had booked or a pull through site (a camper had left early and opened up the pull through) We chose the pull through. The FHU section is pretty tight and filled with what looked like campers parked long term with little or no maintenance that made that section look neglected. But, the electric/water sites area were beautiful around the ponds. The view we had from our site that looked across one of the ponds was like a picture. We would probably stay again but would stay in the water/electric section because campers weren't on top of each other.

The Owners are very friendly we were 4 hours late and they waited for us to get there at 10pm. the campground is clean and set up very well. there is a lot to do there; paintball, mini golf, fishing... The cost is very reasonable, they could have upcharged for the Eclipse event buy they didn't. We are looking to come back and spend more time there.

So blessed to have found this place! Came from Eastern Canada and struggled to find a campsite open this time of year until here! We ended up having to stay a couple extra nights to fix an issue with our RV, owners were super helpful and kind. Beautiful spot to be, quiet and peaceful.

LOVE this place and owners are AWESOME. Quiet, clean with lots of activities available, if your interested. If you wish to just sit around and enjoy resting a spell or our favorite...visiting with friends, well that's a option too. After our first night here we immediately went and booked the rest of our camping trips here for the rest of the year. I just can't say enough good about this place.

So we were there for 4 days and I am so happy we found this hidden gem.. the owners are amazing.. I had made a mistake on my dates when I booked it and we pulled in a week ahead of plan and they made accommodations.. the husband escorted me to my spot and then helped me back in(but that wasn’t the impressive part) he took one look at the camper and said “ you’ll need one board on the driver side to level out” so as I’m grabbing the one board he says “ I can put it down for you” (my wife was amazed she didn’t even have to do her part.) and I was so amazed he was spot on.. ONE board perfect level!!! The park was very neat and scenic.. we loved how quiet and peaceful it was.. We will definitely be staying there again when we come back down to visit family.. excellent experience.. We only have one heads up for future visitors...this park will test your maneuvering skills with all their trees and undisturbed foliage

My husband and I stayed here for a week while on the road with his job. I think this is the quietest campground we’ve ever been in. It was awesome. Beautiful place, trees everywhere. The owners are awesome.
