Hickory Point RV Park is such a gem! The water views are absolutely gorgeous — the kind that make you slow down, breathe deep, and just enjoy the moment. The park is spotless, quiet, and beautifully kept — you can tell they really care about making it special. The office staff is so friendly and welcoming — they truly make you feel at home. One evening they even grilled hotdogs and had s’mores for everyone — such a sweet, old-fashioned touch that made the whole stay even more memorable. It’s the perfect escape for anyone who loves great views, good company, and a clean, peaceful place to unwind. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed for a couple of nights in October and were very impressed. The campground is very well maintained. Although it is small many of the sites are of good size for big rigs. The office person was very nice a helpful. She escorted us to our site and made sure we were comfortable. Our site number 116 was shaded by big trees and roomy enough for our motor home and toad. The utilities worked well and located conveniently. This is not a resort as they have no pool or laundry. But if you’re into boating or just looking out over the water it’s great. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to spend some time exploring Tarpon Springs.

We have camped many places around Florida but this will now be our “go to” camp site. Such a beautiful place being right on the river. They also have a very nice dog park. The office staff and Manager, Christopher, are all so friendly and accommodating. We loved meeting the owner’s daughter, Kate. Just a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

The staff is amazing. The campsites are spacious. The ones that look out on the water are just breathtaking. Only campsite in North Pinellas county that actually sits on water. The sites are clean and the furniture on the water sites really make a difference. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is my second time staying in this waterfront park and it was even better than the first. My site had a great view of the Anclote River and I could watch the boats come and go as well as beautiful sunsets and tons of shore birds. One night we drove about a mile and a half over to the Tarpon Springs side and had drinks in one great place and a delicious dinner at another waterfront restaurant. I would recommend this campground to anyone that enjoys Florida for what it really is. It’s close to everything and very quiet.

We enjoyed our stay at Hickory Point very much. The pull-thru site was nicely sized and level. We spent a lovely afternoon at the waterfront just enjoying the scenery and wildlife. Very peaceful and relaxing!

This is a really nice RV park on the Anclote River. Our site 116 was great & very shady. Great location close to restaurants & beaches in Tarpon & Dunedin . We enjoyed it so much, we booked it again.

We had a wonderful time during our stay! We paid up for a waterfront site and it was worth every penny! The park is very well kept and the staff is courteous and helpful. We will definitely visit again!

We stayed on the water, and even though it was cold out, we loved it!! They are still rebuilding the clubhouse, laundry, and bathrooms. But they did put a nice portable 3 bathroom facility up. They still are doing crafts, breakfasts, and community fires. They will be back to normal soon!!

Beautiful setting. Great amenities. Friendly staff. Dolphins pass by every morning and evening! 4 stars only because they have hurricane and fire related damage. They did email well in advance and notified us that the laundry and bathrooms are not available

This is the best RV park we have stayed at in all of Florida. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming. And all of the campers here were nice as well. We made friends with everyone. And every spot here is amazing. It’s right on the water and it’s very quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone! 10/10

Great little rv park right on the water. Had a great place to relax and sit overlooking the river. The sunset were amazing and watching the boats come and go relaxing. Things to note the site pads are crushed shells so it can get a bit messy on your rugs and if you get it in your rig. Also there are low power lines in the resort. The staff were wonderful and they will lead you to your spot to make sure you don’t hit them. There is also a nice fenced in pet area. Overall a great place to check out Tarpon Springs.

Park is trashy, crowded, and run by dishonest people. Reserved a spot 3 months in advance, and when we arrived we were assigned a muddy space next to the main road. When it becomes clear the spot won’t work, they tell us they only have one other spot for 2 nights only. We take it, and they state they will refund the difference. After we make other arrangements, they somehow come up with another space. They never told us they were trying to find another spot for us, and we declined. When we left they reneged on their agreement to refund us for the remaining time. Occasionally, an RV park runs into a problem and can’t accommodate you. The stand-up places admit their mistake and make it right. Not this place, they want to argue and steal your money because they feel like they are a snowbird destination and don’t need you. Pass on this one, there are too many honest parks out there to take a risk here.

I really liked this campground because not only was it CLEAN it was on the water, which saved us a whole day of trying to find a place to go fishing in our kayaks.They had boat docks and loading ramps for boats as well as a spot to put your kayak in with ease. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The only "meh" moment was having to pack up and leave 😔. Oh and the lady who checked us in was really sweet and even had us follow her around to the camp site which took the guess out of finding it.

We recently travelled through central Florida and this was our favorite campground and site. We paid the premium for the waterfront site and it was worth it! The fact that we saw dolphins from our site almost everyday was incredible. Likely not another campsite in the US this is possible from. They have a nice small park near the water as well for yard games as well laundry and bathrooms if needed. If you have a boat they have docks you can use as well. Our 2 yr old loved watching all the boats coming out of Tarpon Springs. Tarpon Springs is also a great town for exploring and lots of tour boats to go on as well. We also biked on the bike trail that starts about .5 mile away and goes through 2 local parks.
