We had a wonderful experience here in the fall of 2025. The bad reviews mentioned here were not our experience at all- quite the opposite. This is a quiet, well maintained family campground and we met some wonderful people. Our dog absolutely loved the big field to run and play in and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet, especially by the pond. The pool and grounds are very well kept, their annual pig roast was amazing and I’m glad we were there for it. We would definitely come back if we are ever up this way again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We loved our stay at this campground. The owner was extremely accommodating, the camp was clean and quiet. The pool was a very welcome treat as the temperature kept going up! We were saddened to hear that this is the last year for non-seasonal campers. When we are ready, we hope there will still be a spot for us to take that leap!

Ghetto!!!! No laundry facilities.. they advertise that they do. No showers... They advertise that they do.... Bathrooms are disgusting... Half the time no toilet paper and not clean. They have nothing in the store.... You can't even buy a half gallon of milk.. No fish in the pond.... Do not waste your money.

Nice place Had a hard time getting out of the gate at the pool. We had to wait until someone passed by to let us out. Pool looks inviting 😌

Not very nice. No one was there when we arrived, and the site they gave us was not a pull through, even though I requested it, and called a few days before we arrived to verify it was. Thankfully the folks at the park were helpful. Then, the turned off the power our second day to make repairs, which I understand is necessary, but gave us no warning. It was sweltering hot, and thankfully we had family near by so we could go and shower. Because the facilities on site were very outdated and not clean at all! The only saving grace was the residents of the park, they were wonderful! Not one person apologized, offered a refund of some sort. Would not stay here again!

We spent a month at this campground. It was a perfect location for us. There were several year round and seasonal campers. This campground could be really nice if it got some TLC. The facilities are run down. The staff there however did there very best with what they had. Ownership needs to put some capital into it and make some very needed updates and repairs. We lost water quite often and power due to the age of the equipment. We met some really nice fellow campers there. Please fix the place up. You have a gem there.

This is my first camper and first season at Hickory Ridge. The grounds are clean and well kept. It’s very peaceful. Joe could not be more helpful! I’m glad I picked here for my first time camping.
