This is a jewel of a campground! Considering the area around is busy with the hustle and bustle of the suburbs, when you come through the gates it feels like your leaving that busyness away and able to feel like your are far from it. Plenty of space, great sites and facilities but the lakeside views are hard to top. My favorite are the sunsets and relaxing vibes. Truly a jewel of a place to have a nice campground so close to the city.

Hidden Cove is an absolute gem! The cabins are beautiful, clean, and perfectly tucked into nature — the setting is peaceful and relaxing, with stunning views and plenty of space to unwind. You can really feel the care that goes into maintaining the property. What truly makes Hidden Cove stand out, though, is the staff. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and genuinely eager to make your stay perfect. Any time we had a question or a small issue, someone was there to help almost immediately — their response time and attention to detail are incredible. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature with top-notch service, Hidden Cove is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been coming here regularly and it’s used to be a great place, but now people coming here and play loud musics for hours and the management doesn’t seem to care. They lacked having any security for almost 3 hours not a short time. No premium sites or other services was offered to us for this inconvenience by anyone.

We visited in July of 2025. While I know it is a campground, not a hotel, it is run down and in need revamp and updates. The sewer line sits sideways, the picnic table was old and rotting- I had table covers otherwise we would not have sat there… If want you want is truly no frills - then this is the place for you. It is wooded and functioning, but there is trash all over the sites including roofing nails in our spot, the restaurant/bar is closed (although advertised as open) and there is nothing really for kids (6 yrs and 8 yrs) to do as there is no playground. In the winter, this would make a good location to sit outside and enjoy nature, but in summer - with so many sites in full sun and no swim beach, it is kind of a dud... The girls working in the office could also benefit from customer service skills - smiles, hello and how can I help you would go a long way... Tree was grown so far over into our spot that we couldn't open our awning. Edited to add- we were in 43 and my email address matches this screen name- we had to edit my email address upon arrival because whoever took my registration completely butchered it. Checked in on the 10th and left early yesterday.
