It is truly a hidden paradise. The owner is amazing. She has been running this place for 38 years, and it shows. The views, the peace, the perfect spot to recharge during a long journey with the added bonus of being confident the space is well managed. If you're near this Campground, it's worth a detour. Clean, quiet, comfortable.

It was off season and they had some flood damage. Melissa was friendly and very nice. It seemed the other campers lived there..kind of sketchy. Some nice sites though. Would probably be different in summer and with kids, but I wouldn't pick it again.

This place was so beautiful and peaceful. Very friendly people run the office and the place is very kid and pet friendly! Everyone was pretty respectful of each other and the place was overall pretty quiet for how busy it was. There was a good sized playground, basketball court, volleyball net, and pull through parking with grills up by the office. The office store also has a pretty nice selection of things if you happen to have forgot anything! Porta-potty’s located throughout the park as well but make sure you bring your own toilet paper as most of them were out!

This was our first time here! Staff were very welcoming so friendly especially to my babies. Love the lake with the inflatables. They loved the playground and fell in love with the colorful changing water fountain. Fun/Clean atmosphere and Veteran/military friendly!!! Definitely will be spending quite a bit more time here!!!!

We stayed at Hidden Paradise for two nights through the week. Arriving Tuesday afternoon and leaving Thursday morning. We booked site 74 right on the river. Our site was small but very nice. The grass was in good shape and it was fairly level. Luckily the sites to the left and right of us were not booked and I was able to maneuver the travel trailer into place easily. I can imagine that on a busy weekend getting your rig into place on the river sites could be a bit of hassle. The sites are tight and in order to park parallel with the river and have your door facing it you must pull either through the sites next to you or be a hell of driver. We had several trees on our site so we weren’t able to use our awning, but the trees offered plenty of shade so it wasn’t an issue. Water and electric were very close. I only used one 25ft lol water hose and 30amp electric cord. You share a water supply with the site next to you. So if you book an odd number site on the river be prepared to have a little bit longer run of water hose and electric cord. The campground it’s self is very large and they have several sites, and several seasonal sites. Some of the sites are well spaced out and large while others are a little cramped. The river is very nice. It’s not a large river and I would classify it more as a large creek. You could easily walk it if you like. I think most people tube down it. It seemed clean and we saw several fish. We utilized the walking trails around the campground and saw some scenic views of rock cliffs and small ponds. The campground has two shower/bathroom houses, both are located right next to each other in the center of the campground. From some of the sites the walk to the bath house could be a tad far. One of the bath houses is older but appeared to be well maintained and clean. The other seemed newer or freshly renovated. It offered private shower rooms with a restroom and sink inside. The showers were very large and spacious and had ice cold a/c. This shower house was also very clean and well maintained. The camp store had everything you could need and then some. The playground was nice and during our stay they were doing updates to it. The quarry was clean and clear. There’s no beach area so don’t get the idea that you’ll be hanging out lake side in your beach chair enjoying a beverage. It’s all docks and floating obstacles. Perfect for the kids. You do have to pay extra for lake access, but if you’re camping it’s reasonable. They have a newer dump station with dual access in the rear of the campground as well as an older dump station along the exit road. The campground also had decent WiFi that I was able to use to stream movies. This could be due to us being the only occupants at the campground at the time. I’m assuming performance drops when the campground is full. Bottom line we booked this campground to stay along the river and just relax, and it didn’t disappoint. I will say that if you have smaller children that require closer attention you may want to look elsewhere just due to how the quarry is set up and not having an actual beach. If your kids are older and you can let them roam around and do their things while you chill at the campsite then Hidden Paradise is perfect. I imagine that this place fills up on the weekends, especially during the summer. The sites are tight and I could see maneuverability being difficult if the campground is crowded, just something to think about. We enjoyed our time and I do think we would return.

The name says it, a real Hidden Paradise. Everyone was so nice, helpful. Felt so welcomed by the staff and other camper's. It's a lot bigger then just a RV/campgrounds. Fishing was good, peaceful, well taken care of, a ton of water activities (were being set up and anchored when I was there) swimming, water toys, kayaking and a well stocked camp store (which came in very handy). I just can't say enough the bath house / shower house restrooms were immaculately taken care of. Golf carts are available for rental and free wifi (great signal/speed) Located in a nice small town (St Paul, Indiana) with gas stations, Family Dollar store of course and a nice bar/restaurant (good food) all within a few mins from the campgrounds. Absolutely amazing place I will be back! Thank you all to the staff you guys are awesome 🤘😎🤘

Showed availability on line so booked site for Memorial Day weekend. Didn't get a chance to apply military discount so called in. They then tell me they are sold out, but new system is showing availability for now . They refunded money but this could have been a big problem if I didn't call ahead. Will be as I'm sure others will book. Normally would let this go, but this is a huge mistake that could have cost my wife and I got a lot of money and time with gas the way it is.

Although it has been raining, we did have one day of sun. It’s sooo peaceful here. There’s a river. You can rent kayaks, paddle boats, and swim when it’s summer. There have nice showers and a place to do laundry. Also, you can bring your rv, camp or rent a cabin. Def a hidden paradise 🌴
