This was an overnight stop on the way to pigeon Forge and again on the way back. Really really nice little park off the highway. The front staff were very, very helpful. The campsite was very clean and well-maintained. Our site was electric, but no sewage. It was all we needed for overnight and very peaceful.

Great campground, wonderful views and fantastic walking trails. The staff was friendly and helpful. It has a very quirky chick-in procedure and the roads inside the campground are narrow but the camp sites were good. You won't be disappointed at this one.

Great state park campground, kind of silly that you have to check in across the street from the campground before heading up the road to your site. We saw a lot of campers have to turn around and head back after reaching the gate with no code to get in. Other than that it was a great stay, a little pricey for a state park, over $80 for 2 nights with no sewer hook up and only a 30amp electric. Also be prepared to spend an additional $5 per car on a parking pass that isn't included in your site fees. We stayed at the Riverside loops, which seemed like larger sites compared to the lakeside loops. Beautiful falls across the street, great looking pool and mini golf could use some love. Probably won't be back, lots of other places for cheaper and the same experience. Be sure to make the drive over to Indian springs State Park, your park pass is good there too, beautiful falls that you can stick your feet into.

High Falls State Park is beautiful, but completely separate from the camping accommodations. Definitely worth spending a week! It’s 1mile and a half walk up hill . It’s a little intimidating to drive with your rig down the steep gradient from the main road to the campground too. Once inside it is an intermediate walk on The Tranquility trail, from inside the rv camp ground, but it will take you an hour to actually visit the falls. Dollar General or The Market at Center are great for all your affordable camping needs. There are also 3 gas stations which is very combined! I wish the The Falls View Restaurant was open, hopefully soon.

We stayed at the yurt in the camp ground. I tent camped for many years and I am now to the age that I am over it but yet still love camping. Yurts are an amazing alternative that allows you all the camping greatness but without setting a tent or sleeping on the ground. These yurts even have heating and air so you can enjoy the winter and summer days too. We just stayed mid February in 30° weather and stayed toasty the whole time! They are so clean and cozy and we will for sure be back! My handicapped son had no issues staying here. We had a dock to fish off of and could walk right down to the water. The restrooms and showers stayed supper clean the whole time and the grounds are very well kept. Love love love the area and the falls!
