High Point Mobile Home & RV Park
Overview
High Point Mobile Home & RV Park offers a reliable and quiet landing spot for travelers passing through north-central Oklahoma. Situated in the northern reaches of Enid, this park provides a blend of residential stability and transient convenience. Visitors often appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the straightforward layout, making it an ideal choice for those who prefer a no-frills, functional basecamp over a high-activity resort setting. It is a well-established community that welcomes short-term guests with open arms.
Location & Surroundings
The park is located on the north side of Enid, providing easy access to major local thoroughfares like Highway 81 and Highway 412. The immediate surroundings are primarily a mix of residential areas and open spaces, offering a quiet environment away from the heavy noise of the main commercial strips. Despite this seclusion, the park remains just a short drive from the city’s core shopping centers, ensuring that travelers can restock supplies or enjoy a local meal within minutes of their site. Its convenient highway access makes it a popular stop for those traversing the state.
Amenities & Park Features
High Point is designed for practicality and comfort, featuring spacious full-hookup sites that accommodate both 30 and 50-amp electrical needs. The park maintains essential facilities, including on-site laundry services and well-maintained gravel pads that provide a level surface for units of various sizes. Because the park caters to both mobile homes and RVs, the infrastructure is sturdy and reliable. The property is pet-friendly, allowing travelers to bring their companions along while they enjoy the wide-open Oklahoma sky from the comfort of their rig.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Staying here places you near some of Oklahoma’s most unique cultural sites. History enthusiasts can explore the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center, which details the famous Land Run of 1893 and the region's agricultural roots. Families often enjoy a day at Leonardo’s Children’s Museum, home to a massive outdoor science park. Additionally, the Enid Event Center and Convention Hall host frequent concerts and trade shows, making the park a convenient home base for attendees visiting for specific local events or seasonal festivals.
Who This Park Is Best For
High Point is a premier choice for traveling workers and retirees looking for a long-term stay or a multi-week stopover in the Enid area. Its quiet nature and focus on essential utilities make it perfect for those who value privacy and a good night's sleep after a long day of driving or working. While it lacks the swimming pools of a luxury resort, it serves as an excellent, affordable hub for independent RVers who want to explore the historical depth and local charm of north-central Oklahoma at their own pace.
