Great campground with awesome hiking and biking trails. Lake for fishing, and beach was busy but clean. We camp here often and love it. The sites are primitive so bear that in mind that there is no electricity or water hookups.

I’m gonna tell everybody that this recreational area sucks, so it won’t get crowded. Like why would i tell anyone about this hidden gem of a recreational area? I don’t want a lot of folks going there. Only cool people that like nature 😉

First time here.... amazing hike! I took the blue trail, like 5.8 miles. Well maintained trails and well marked as well. I'll be returning.

A beautiful place to spend the day hiking with the family! Clearly marked trails and also well maintained. Historically great as well!

I walked some trails with my family and we had fun. A couple days later I ran some of the trail paths. There are lots of obstacles to traverse, mostly down trees and some muddy parts. I got a little lost and was told to follow a path in the group camping area. It had wooden markers, but they were very old and the farther I followed, the less like a path or became. Eventually it turned into a deer path, with deer. When the deer path disappeared, I turned around and made my way back to the road to get myself back to my car. It was my longest run in a while.

My wife and I love taking our dogs here to hike and play. They always have such a good time. The hiking/walking trails are easy, very well maintained, and marked.
