We are currently staying here for Labor Day Weekend. Although we usually stay at state parks, we opted to stay here this holiday weekend due the location being only about 15 minutes to Schlitterbahn. This place does have nice amenities and the staff is very friendly. There are probably more long-term renters than visitors but 99.9% of them keep up their rigs and area well. There was only one spot that had a lot of junk piled in. Shade is abundant which is a big deal in the hot Texas summers! The pool was clean and well maintained. Although we didn't get to use the other amenities (park, splash pad, game room, fitness center, laundry facility, bathrooms, and more!) They did look very nice! The tiny homes looked like a great option for those who don't want to bother with an RV. From the outside, they looked very well kept! Now, on to the not so positive part (and this may not be an issue for most) but it seems that most pad sites are not level. Not even close. They are thick graveled sites which make using risers a little difficult. Our pad slopped downward, pretty steep, and to the left. It was nearly impossible to get our trailer up on the risers due to the thick, slick gravel. The west side of the park is directly next to I-35, so keep that in mind when booking if traffic noise bothers you. I loved having the dog park area for our pup to run free, but the gravel and stickers mixed in with grass made that task a little challenging. It's not a deal breaker but something to consider if you have tinder footed fur babies. The only other complaint is the sewer gas that leaks. We had ours capped but it was still very potent 😅 not sure this is preventable but it hasn't ever been an issue at other parks for us.

There were a lot of pluses to out way the negatives. For example 5 negatives were; 1 staff member was rude to my children when they asked for directions to the in door pool. She answered them in a rude way like she didn't want to be bothered. 🤨 Some things in the game room needs to be updated, but it was neat and the kids had fun. The website pictures need updated to show the arcade games are not there. The store barley had anything in it. They definitely need to update the website picture on that. I did not get the 30% discount that it shows on the website because I had already checked out and they don't automatically apply it. Staff says you have to mention it when you check in. 🤔 Last but not least we did find a bug in our room but it was dead. Now for the positives; We really enjoyed the pool areas each time we return from being out on the town. We enjoyed the outside games as well volleyball etc. One night we were there they had karaoke night my kids went they said it was cool. They provided dishes so we could cook, a BBQ pit as well cups/plates and bowls that is all in the lodge. I will for sure bring my family here again but maybe stay in a bigger lodge.

My 12 year old daughter and I stayed here while visiting Schlitterbahn. We arrived late, after the staff was done, and they’d left us very easy check in instructions, with a map to our cabin. The next morning the staff called to check on us and make sure all was well. We enjoyed the 2 pools & hot tubs, the quiet grounds, and the great location. Our cabin was quaint and very clean, with everything we needed. The front porch had a really high powered fan which made it possible for me to have my morning coffee out there. Bring bug spray, it is texas after all! The only downside was the uncomfortable bed. A mattress topper might help. My daughter left something behind and we called to ask about. The staff immediately went to find it and called us right back so we could go retrieve it. Checkout was easy and friendly. Can’t wait to bring my whole family here to stay soon.

This is one of the best places that I've found to stay for a weekend visit, or perhaps long term. The cabins are well kept and serviced daily. The RV pads all have concrete patios and picnic tables. There are mature trees to provide shade and a relaxing atmosphere for camping. The amenities are awesome as well. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs are a hit with the guests. Great place for a family vacation, or stay long term.

Had so much fun with my in-laws. The resort has three pools, hot tub, splash pad, and playground. There a cabins for rent and RV hookups too. The grounds were extremely clean and the resort is gated for extra safety. The cabins are quaint and the A/C works great!
