The Mrs was very sweet. Nothing was mowed and hadn't been for some time. The pond was icky but in all fairness it had been very dry. The campground could be lovely with a little elbow grease.

I can’t say enough good about this Campground. They truly treated us like family. Donna in the office gave us all kinds of information on places to visit in the area and even bought us Whoopie pies when we said we had missed the Whoopie pie Festival the week before. Not many campgrounds take that kind of personal interest in you and making sure you have a great time in the area.

It was pretty average. The bathrooms / shower were pretty dirty and doubled as a storage room. The fire wood was wet. At $47 per night I’d expect just a bit better, especially after seeing some campgrounds in Newfoundland where you could perform surgery in their sparkling clean bathrooms, firewood came in dry bundles along with some bark as a starter - all at $20-30 a night. Again, it’s not a terrible camp, just average.

Awesome stay at Hilltop Campground! Everyone was super nice and welcomed us. We had a great time hanging out, chatting, and listening to live music. Our pull thru site was large and flat. We didn't have to unhook our Jeep which is always a bonus. We highly this campground.
