Stopped by before our train ride with the Hiwassee River Scenic Railroad, and the staff was friendly and helpful! The place was clean, informative, and had really cool things inside the giftshop (free and even cool things to buy). They even had snakes, skins, and other local things like honey! We'll definitely be coming back to check out the trails when it warms back up.

This is our go to for a quick, easy scenic walk. It's busy at times, but I rarely run into anyone else on the short trails.
