Had a very nice time here this past weekend with our camper. Just my wife and I this time. Great campground for families and couples both. The owner has had this place for a while and has been making upgrades every year. A lot of the sites that aren't "full hookup" actually have electric AND water. He was very friendly and I enjoyed talking to him when I stopped in the office. He has a variety of items in the "Ranger Station" if you forget something. Great WiFi signal is available for no extra charge. Lake is beautiful, clean and had some nice looking bass swimming around. Was a nice and quiet weekend and we will keep this campground on our list the next time we go to Hocking Hills!

Stargazing!! Incredible! We also enjoyed the cabin and lake immensely! Cabins were very clean and comfortable. The lake was crystal clear. Looking for a nice weekend with the kids I’d go the this jellystone.

My kids loved the pond activities, and the cabin we slept in. I was a bit disappointed that there were no activities going on for the advertised Pirate and Mermaid themed weekend, it’s the main reason we made a reservation. When I asked others about it, they had no knowledge of these themed weekends. (Even though it’s on the website) Also the pool is in the owners backyard, and a bit away from the campsite. I’m not sure if we will return to this location, but my kids did enjoy their stay.

We tent camped so I can’t rate the cabins. But the campsite everything we expected and more. We loved it! We had a prime camping spot. Everything was in walking distance. The girls in the ranger station were so nice and helpful. The bathrooms/showers were clean. And the lake was absolutely beautiful. On Friday night they played a movie and on Saturday my kids loved candy bar bingo. We were off hiking when Yogi visited the camp but my kids got to meet BooBoo and my daughter loved giving him a big bear hug! We plan to visit again next year for longer and get a cabin.

There are many great things about this campground. Sadly there are some horrible things also. The good are pond is very clean, warm, most campsites appeared nice. The floating obstacle course was nice and the utilities worked good. The bad is they nickel and dime you to death (ex $10 per person for pond use and $10 for being 58 min early) and when raised question about it at check in. Owner came to my campsite screaming and yelling at me (ring door cameras on camper are great thing) threatening us including if left bad review. Part of obstacle course I questioned, huge hill to get to pond and literally one table to set at. Also the pool is at owners house literally no where near everything else. Also sewer hook up of neighbors is 15’ from camper door. A grandparent gave my kids $30 give certificate for helping get kids that had fallen in gap and couldn’t get out plus a mom and I pulled two more out. To end on positive note shower house was clean, very nice park area for kids to play.
