Hoisington RV Park

Everything was great with the parking, etc.. but they advertise that there are showers available. I went to shower one morning and I was told that they are no longer available, even though it says it is available on their website here along with it posted on the self pay area. My husband was able to use the men's shower but I was refused yo use the women's. What's up with that? I asked why the men's was available but not women's. I was told it is for the students if they need it. Is there not any female students who need it only the male students? I will not be recommending anybody staying at this RV park if they want to shower. Sherri Jackson

Back in spaces behind the Activity Center with electric and water. Dump station is on the north side of the center. Be wary of tornadoes.

A campground was easy to find and very reasonable. We stay for one night. They have a wonderful activity center right off the parking lot.

Price is right. Easy access. No trees. No cell service for Sprint and no Wi-Fi.

The city has a nice large parking lot and they use the back edge to park RVs with water and 50 Amp service. I will be back. 38ft motorhome

Perfect over night stop for us! Can't go without electricity for medical reasons, so $15 was well worth it! Our dogs enjoyed the grassy area too.

We rated this site a four because it had what we needed for an overnight stop. We were surprised at the parking lot, but when we figured it out, we decided to stay. It was well worth the price for us! No frills campsite and very functional with a travel trailer.

For a city operated RV park, this one is good for an overnight stop, though not very scenic being behind a recreation center by an open field and a water tower, the sites are a bit odd, being back in sites on the edge of a large parking lot with the water and electric hookups located behind the sites off the pavement. They even provide free wifi, though its performance is less than great and it has fairly strict website content filtering. There is some fast food, and even a small grocery store within walking distance maybe 1/4 mile away on the main highway. The place was mostly empty the night I was there with only 1 other RV there and no activities in the recreation center going on, I was self contained so only used water and electric hookup so can't comment about the facilities beyond this.
