Landscaping was incredible! The improvements have made a world of difference! Absolutely love coming to stay at Holder Mine several times throughout the year!

Okay, listen—if you’re reading this, please pretend you didn’t. I’m only writing this review because karma demands it, not because I want to see you next time I pull up with my camping crew. If you’ve ever found a secret fishing spot, you’ll know the pain of giving away a hidden gem. That’s how I feel about this place. My group has been camping here twice a year for many years, and honestly, I considered taking this secret to the grave. We’ve braved ankle-busting rock roads and lived to tell the tale. But now? Freshly paved roads, manicured campsites… am I still camping, or did I stumble into a fancy retreat center by accident? I half-expected a valet to park my car. Whether you’re in a tent, camper, or glamping in a spaceship, you’ll enjoy this place. And let me tell you about the shower house—it’s so nice I considered forwarding my mail there. I’ve used bathrooms in people’s homes that weren’t this clean or fancy. If you drop your soap here, you don’t have to throw it away (campers, you know). 10 out of 10 will poop here again!!! So yes, I’m breaking the “camper’s code” and telling you about it. But let’s keep it between us, okay? So while there, if you see a group of people that look like they are having too much fun, that is us!

We went the other day, we didn't stay as our ac was tripping the breaker. We left after several tripping we left. Nice campground no doubt. It seems they did palette place! I'll go again, price was right!

Make sure you look for a gate code on your confirmation email, put it in your phone notes or write it down. Cell service is really spotty.Nice quiet campground. With water and electric. Sites are big with a concrete pad. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. Hot showers with great pressure. Family lives 5 minutes away. This is our new go to campground!!!

Perfect getaway campground in the Citrus Wildlife Management Area. We loved the tranquility of the place. Nice to have your campfire at night at your own site. Electricity and water hookup worked fine. It took us a while, but we finally found the sewer dump station just outside of the campground. This info could be handy on the information board and on the booking confirmation. We loved the site and would definitely come back.

We loved this campground! There's an amazing female ranger that really maintains everything! Lots of fun Jeep/ATV trails. Super busy on the weekends so make your reservations in advance. Just far enough from the world with out being too far away in case of an emergency. Also your only about 45 minutes from the beach, so if your not into Jeeps/big boy toys take a trip to the gulf pier and beach.

Quiet, enchanting. We visit often as we live 20 mins away. Great facilities and well maintained. A gem.

Great park. Unfortunately run by a german gastpo lady with 3 kids in tow. We traveled for years never been treated so poorly. We barley get in site set up. She came pounding in our door telling us to get out . that check out was 30 min ago. It took 5 min of here rudeness and repeatedly telling us to get out Talking down to us to believe we just got here. Then it was we went to come in before 3. So they could clean site. In time we been here she had not one thing to clean any site . Guessing they having trouble getting help or they do not care how guest are treated

Holder Mine Campground is okay. Good place to go for hiking, hunting, or better yet, caving. If you have AT&T or Sprint the service is terrible. Dominoes delivers to the campground. The camp host keeps a tight watch over the sites. There is free firewood next to the bath house, but you can donate. Overall... It's a very hot campground with little to do other than the above mentioned activities.
